Chapter 4: Answer!

It was quite late now. The sun was about to set.

"So, Nagisa-kun, what is your answer?" Karma asked, once I had gotten a hold of myself.

"Huh?" I looked up at him, quite dazed.
"I kinda proposed to you a while ago, didn't I? So what do you say?"

"Karma-kun...do you actually love me?" I could hear my heart thumping in my chest. Was this really happening?

"Yeah, that's what I told you, didn't I? Well, Nagisa-kun? Do you mind going out with me?" Karma smiled at me.
I was lost for words, but I managed to say, "I'll think about it."
Karma looked pleased, although I hadn't really said yes.
"That's fine, Nagisa-kun! But I want you to answer by next week~♡" Then, kneeling down, he whispered into my ear, "I'll definitely make you fall for me in a week."
