Jyn's POV
We only have seconds. Seconds until the wave of destruction hits us. Then it will be the end. But I'm not scared. I'm ready. it's okay. I'm going to be with my family I'm going to be with my friends. I'm going to be happy.
I look over at Cassian he doesn't look scared either. He has excepted it. He is ready too. I grab his hand and he smiles at me.
"your father would have been proud of you Jyn."
I smile back at him as tears begin to fill my eyes. This is the perfect way to go out. Knowing that we helped people. Knowing the galaxy has hope now.
As the wave continues to get closer we hold each other waiting for it to hit us. A bright light fills the area then everything goes dark.
