You walked quickly to the entrance at the end of the school day, refraining from running out from your excitement.

Yes, you were excited. And nervous, very nervous and excited. Were you rambling? Also yes. It was kind of hard to not be jittery when you're about to meet aliens.

You waited for your friends, noticing that Bulkhead and Bumblebee were already waiting at the curb. You discreetly waved at them, feeling a jolt of giddiness go through you when you saw Bee's tired move slightly.

"Spin!"

Jack called out from behind you. You turned on your heel and beamed at your friends as they came out of the doors and down the stairs.

"Hey guys!" You jumped onto them for a group hug, unable to quell your rising anticipation.

"Ready to go to study club?" You said discreetly, aware of the other students around you.

"Jeez Spin, don't act so excited to help me with my Geometry homework. That's boring!" Miko retorted, swinging her hands behind her head as she played along.

"Incorrect, Geometry is important and also a good math. Right Raf?"

Said boy rolled his eyes, hands on his backpack straps.

"Let's just go guys." He said. Your eyes lit up as the group walked into the parking lot, splitting to their respective guardians.

You slipped into the backseat quickly, as to limit the seconds that Raf had to jump in for, and to limit the exposure time. It was a pretty smooth transition, actually. You were adjusting to the secret quickly.

Bumblebee buzzed at the two of you as he rolled out of the parking lot onto the highway.

"Hey Bee, school was boring." Raf said casually. You frowned as you drew your eyebrows together. Raf caught your expression in the rear-facing mirror.

"Oh! Sorry Spin, I forgot you can't understand Bumblebee. He asked us how our day went."

"Oh, well..." you launched into a spiel about an awful test you had in your worst class, playing it up some as you moaned about the injustice of it all. It became quiet all too soon in the vehicle, so you did what you do best.

Ramble. A lot.

"So, all of this is, like, super cool. Like, you guys have been here for thousands of years? Well, maybe not on earth, but you're all from space! And you've visited other planets! Tell me, are there other humanoid beings? Wait, don't answer that, it's probably a yes because you yourself are humanoid. Well, right now you're a car, which is really cool, by the way, like I've always had an interest in cars, and the model you've chosen is super sleek and awesome. An Urbana 500? Sick. And you're twenty feet tall, but you can shift into the size of a car! Where does everything go, if you don't mind me asking. Wait, no, don't answer that, that's a really personal question, I'm sorry. Well, it might be? Is it? Cause if it is, I'll totally apologize. I mean, it's probably like asking someone where they put their privates-"

"Spin!" Raf yelled, interrupting you. His face was red as he tried to stop himself from laughing, looking almost offended/constipated. You slapped your hands over your mouth as you were overcome with embarrassed laughter.

Bee's radio crackled with short bursts of buzzing, which you were quick to figure out as his laughing. You smiled in spite of yourself. At least you didn't offend him. That would have been awful. Your human etiquette had bad holes in it at the best of times, who could have known that you didn't just cross major lines!

Thankfully he was laughing. Laughter was good. Laughter meant he thought you were funny.

The conversation went smoothly after your unfortunate ice breaker. Well, as smooth as it could be. You had absolutely no clue what Bee was saying. You were surprised that Raf could understand any for the chirps and whirs the Bumblebee produced as actual words. It was just a mess of noises to you. Therefore, Raf had to translate whatever Bee said to you; which was slightly frustrating, to say the least.
