Tris's POV

"What do you mean?" he asks and I reply "My body has a reaction that I'm not controlling and I want it to stop." I cry silently into his shirt and he shushes me. "Hey, Tris, we've been through worse things than this, I will help you."

Tobias's POV

I feel so bad for Tris, I don't know what's happening to her. She says that she can't control what she's doing sometimes. She wants me to hold her but her body doesn't let her. We know that guy does not belong in amity, he's probably a spy for Max. Amity don't beat up other "amity" and they definitely don't make conflict.

He should get kicked out, nobody did anything though. He beat up a girl, my girlfriend and nobody did $hit, it makes me so mad. But that would bring more conflict and all the people that are here, want to be here. I need to ask Tris if something weird happened, if she felt something different.

A pinch maybe because he could've injected her with something, I don't know what but I will. Right now we're just in the corner hugging on the floor. I think she fell asleep so I carry her to the bed but then she screams "Four, don't!" I shake her awake and say "Tris, Tris, wake up" I yell.

She springs up and sees me and suddenly backs away again. Then she just falls on the floor sobbing again. "Tris, are you ok, what happened?" I ask walking towards her. "He tried to kill you" she silently says. "I thought I lost you Tobias" she says quietly so no one else hears.

"But I'm here, come here" I say as she leaps up and falls into my arms. "You were gone" she sniffles and I stroke her hair softly. "Tris just get into bed and I'll be right next to you" I tell her. She sniffles and climbs into bed, she stifles a sob. "Hey, I'm right here" I resssure her.

She holds onto me tightly as I climb into bed with her. She cuddles up next to me and falls asleep. I eventually fall asleep too.

An hour or so later

I wake up and hear crying. Tris is the first thing that comes to mind, is she hurt? Where is she? I get up and see blood pooling out from underneath the bed, oh no! Please no! I look and see Tris, she's cutting herself, oh no! "Tris" I say quietly and it startles her. "What are you doing?" I ask crouching down.

I slowly take the knife out of her hand, wondering where she got it! "Tris, stop, where'd u get this?" I ask trying not to cry. "F-f-rom the tray" she says quietly, my eyes are glossy as I ask "Where?" She points to a tray with surgical tools on it! "Tris, you can't do this" I sob.

"But I need to, I can't control my body so if I can't then I don't have to deal with it if I do this" she explains. "Tris, please, no, I love you, don't ruin your life with this" I say trying not to cry. I throw the knife into a corner and hold her close. "But Tobias, I'm scared" her little voice says.

"I know but I will help you through this" I say crying. "Why are you crying?" she asks me. "Tris, because you can't cut yourself, I don't want you to end your life, I need you, please don't leave me" I plead. I feel her chest heaving up and down, trying to calm herself down. She gets up and I'm confused.

"Tris, what are you doing?" I ask as she runs over to the sink. She turns it on and starts cleaning her cut. She starts crying. "It burns so much" she sobs as water streams down. I go over to her and tell her I'll get the nurses to bandage it. She nods as she soaks it with a rag.

She's clinging onto my arm so hard. I'm scared for her, she's lost her mind, not in a psychotic way but just a way she can't control. She's crying heavily on my arm right now as I calm her down. I hug her close, blood is everywhere in the room.

I pray for her that she'll be alright, that she'll go back to normal. I need my Tris back! Nurses rush in and gasp when they see the amount of blood everywhere. They get working on her as soon as they rush in. "Hang on Tris" I say as the nurses lie her on the bed.

"Four!" she yells through all the chaos and I'm at her side. "Hey, its fine, you're gonna be ok" I tell her but tears stream down her face like a waterfall. "Come on Tris, be brave" I tell her. They rush me out of the room and I hear Tris's cries, they have to let me back in.

I need to be with her, she's gonna lose it!

Two hours later

One nurse comes out and she's soaked in blood, oh no! "Tris, is she ok?" I ask still crying. "She..." the nurse starts.
