"just piss off colt!"i slam the door in her face i turn back round walking over to the bed sitting back down. who does she think she is.she cant just follow people around like a stalker she had no right not even be at the door this is a private room. why was she even at the hospital should she be chasing a ball around a feild?! i sigh loudly. my mum coughs waking up. i quickly grab the water beside her bed.
"here mum...drink this it will make you feel better"i hold the back of her head up with one hand and hold the glass in the other whilst she drinks
"thank you alex"she whispers
"its okay"i put the water down and sit back down.
"have you been here long?"mum looks at me her smile weak.
"not long about an hour or two dad is just went to go get some coffee he'll be back soon"
"you should have woken me"mum tells me trying to sit up.
"mum you need to rest please just sit still and i'll help you up"i pull mums pillows up comforting her before sitting her up right.
"this isnt right you shouldnt have to do this you my daughter"mum complains
"and your my mother its my job to take care of you"i say as dad walks in with two cups in his hands "dad i told you i dont like coffee or tea"
"i know thats why i got you hot chocolate...i saw colt out in the hallway"dad brings colt up hesataintly
"and i should care about her why?"i say it came out bitchier than i ment.
"alex she was hurt and isnt allowed to play anymore she was upset and you slammed a door in her face"dad scolds me
"she didnt look hurt to me she looked like a stalker"i mumble
"alexandrea"my dad uses my full name which means he's seriously annoyed
"whos is this your talking about?"my mum asks quietly i look at dad nervously he nods for me to start.
"um its a girl from school mum"i tell her first trying to pluck up the corage to tell her the rest. "um we went on a...date last night"i look at the ground
"oh...thats nice im glad you finally found someone you like"mum says happily i look back up to see her smiling slightly
"um colt is a girl mum i went on a date with a girl."i repeat just incase she didnt hear me
"yes i know dear and im happy for you as long as your happy your my babygirl nothing could change the way i feel about you" mum starts coughing again i grab the water again repeating what i done the last time.
"thank you mum"i hug her gently
"i love you and i think you should go apologise to her"mum tells me as i step back from the bed
"i agree with your mother ...she got hurt badly alex she may never play sports again you should be there for her"dad tells me give me the 'you dont have an opition your doing this' look on his face
"well i suppose il do it tomorrow at school"
"no you'll do it now before the wound closes and she refuses to forgive you"dad warns me
"whats that suppost to mean"i ask not really understanding
"i ment colt one time and i already know she has got issues with her feelings if you dont hurry up she will shut you out alex so go hurry up you can come back here tomorrow and i expect you home by 10tonight"
