My vision dark, I dream of the waves of the ocean. I run toward the strong blue ocean, and jump in. I start swimming, my stamina somehow unlimited. Suddenly, in my dream, my leg starts to cramp and I can't kick anymore. Eventually, I give up on trying to stay above the water and I fall deep into the ocean, the waves washing me away.

Gasping awake, I feel a cold sweat take over me. At first, I don't recognize where I am but then I realize that I'm at Kaz's apartment. More specifically, Kaz's bedroom. I remember taking a bath but then after that... I wipe my face with a hand, eagerly trying to clear my thoughts, to no avail. What the fuck happened?

Then, I remember. I was lying in the bath tub. That's it. Did I... fall asleep? Guess I did.

Upon reminiscing, I notice a figure in corner of my eye. It was Kaz, sleeping upward on the nearby chair.

I get up from his bed, deciding to go to the kitchen for a glass of water. Before I leave, I carry him over back to his own bed and drape a blanket over Kaz's body so he won't die. Being a heavy sleeper, Kaz stays deep asleep.

In the kitchen, I pour myself some tap water, chugging it down my dried throat. I'm not in a certain city in California, so the tap water isn't extremely nasty.

When I'm satisfied with the amount of water I put in myself, I head back to Kaz's room to check on him. Sure enough, he's still fast asleep. Deciding to give him some space, and the fact that he had rolled to the middle of the bed, I walk back to the living room to sleep on the sofa. I grab an extra blanket that was hanging loosely at the end of the bed and head straight for the sofa. Before I actually fall asleep, I check my phone to see if there were any new messages. There were none.

Putting my phone away, I close my eyes, eventually falling into a deep slumber.

The next morning, I wake up, feeling relieved as fuck. Damn, that was some good shit.

T-The bubble bath and sleep, I mean. As I begin to stand up, I hear a loud bang coming from Kaz's room.

"What the fuck? Why was that door there? And where did that dude go?" I hear Kaz say, his voice alarmed, confused, though still sleepy.

Concerned, I walk to his room. When I arrive, I see Kaz clutching his foot in pain, apparently having banged his foot against the door because of the dark.

"Shit dude, you alright?" I ask, leaning against the doorway and flipping the lightswitch.

When he sees me, I can see his face light up with relief for a second, before it disappears. "Oh, you're still here... "

I roll my eyes. "Where would I go? I'm stealing some cereal. This was all planned from the beginning. Sorry not sorry."

Now it's Kaz's turn to roll his eyes. "Feel free to kidnap my plain non-fat organic Cheetos, but the cereal's mine."

I look at Kaz, disgusted. Cheetos? I noticeably shiver. "Damn weed Cheetos," I mutter aloud.

Kaz looks at me confused. "Weed Cheetos? I ran out of those a couple weeks ago, sorry... "

"Oh. Wait, you actually bought some?"

"Yeah. Those things are the shit."

I sigh in disbelief. Jesus Christ. "Whatever, I'm stealing your cereal now." Without waiting for a response, I walk out of Kaz's room. Crispy fucker. Realizing what I had just thought, I cringe at my own thought. The fuck is a crispy fucker?

Brushing off whatever happened just now, I enter his kitchen and look through the pantry. At the very top, I notice a box of Lucky Charms... "Hell yeah, now I can be one of those fucks that only eat the marshmallows," I mutter under my breathe, smirking. Seeing that the box is at the top and out of reach, I look for anything I could stand on. Searching, I found only three things; a box, a stool, and a tong. I wouldn't stand on the tong, but it'd be helpful in getting the box.
