"Aria, you home?" I shouted as I entered the house.

I laughed a little when I remembered Leon's stunned face when I agreed to his 'falling in love' comment.

Maybe I should work on my sarcastic tone more because I wouldn't want Leon to think I actually meant it, then that'd be awkward.

Slamming the door closed, I heard Aria's reply coming from upstairs. I started making way up towards her room. Stopping in front of her door I paused and inhaled deeply.

Time to fulfill my promise.

Placing my hand on the knob, I turned it and entered her room. Aria was sitting on her bed while reading a magazine and listening to music. Once she saw me entered she turned her stereo down and patted the seat next to her on the bed.

I shuffled towards her and sat at the end of the bed facing her.

"What's up?" she asked curiously.

I could tell she was shocked that I'm here but she did a good job in covering it up.

"I need to tell you something about your boyfriend." Might as well get to the point, I'm not one to beat around the bush.

Aria's posture tensed, she stared at me and said, "What?"

"Brody isn't the one for you."

This only confused Aria as her brows furrowed. I sighed and brought my hands up to rub my forehead.

This is harder than I thought it would be.

"Okay, let's try this again." I mumbled to myself and then looked straight in Aria's eyes.

"Brody will not be faithful to you nor will he stay any longer if you don't give him what he wants in the first place." I said slowly to make sure Aria get it but she just blinked twice and leaned away from me.

"What do you mean?" he voice came out as a whisper.

Great, now I have to tell her what he does to me.

"I haven't told you this but when I first met Brody I knew immediately that he was a player." Aria looked at me suspiciously, "You know I'm good at reading people and you definitely know I can spot a player from a mile away."

Aria nodded stiffly, her fists were clenched in her lap as I continued. "Remember those past weeks when I would avoid you whenever you would bring Brody to the house – well, he had been getting on my nerves because he would always try to get close to me."

Aria started to shake her head but I quickly interrupted her, "Would I ever lie to you Aria – especially about something like this?" Her eyes started to water as she looked down at her trembling hands.

"B-but he is so g-good to me." Her lips wobbled as she sniffed.

Sighing, I placed my hands on top of hers. She looked at me through her lashes and I said softly, "Why lie to yourself when you know he's wasn't?"

That did it - Aria's tears fell from her eyes.

Shuffling closer, I moved next to her and wrapped my arms around her shoulders. She sobbed in the base of my neck and I rubbed her back to calm her down.

I may have avoided Aria when Brody was over but that still didn't stop me from over hearing her and him fight over the phone because Brody was too busy doing something when Aria needed him. The only reason she didn't dump him was because he would always make it up to Aria and since she was a sucker for romantic things, she would always forgive him.

And it's only been roughly about two months when she actually met him and about a month ago since she started dating and finally roughly four weeks ago since they were an item.
