Chapter 20

Leon's POV

I cannot believe what is happening. Jade came to me on her own free will!

Wow! And here I thought I had to chase her until the ends of the earth and I would have because I know she is the only girl who I would do it for.

But now...

I couldn't stop the boyish smile crawling on my face.

"What are you so happy about?" She asked in her sweet voice.

Gazing to the side, I shot her a charming smirk.

"You."

She rolled her hazel eyes at me but I knew my charms worked because of the light blush and the twitch of her lips.

Speaking of lips...

I pulled over to the side of the road.

Jade frowned and asked, "Why did we s-"

But I only had one thing on my mind. Leaning over I pressed my lips to her soft ones. She gasped in surprise and took advantage of that to deepen the kiss. She moaned and moved her hands to the back of my neck where she tugged at my hair.

Damn this girl...

I gently kissed her – savoring the taste and the way she makes me feel. Pulling away, we were breathing heavily as we stared at each other.

Jade reached out and lightly touched my cheek. My eyes were hooded as I leaned my forehead against hers – just enjoying the way her hands caressed my skin. I was sure my eyes were dilated but I had to control myself around her but damn I would be lying if I said it was easy!

I don't want her to be like the other girls I bang.

No. Jade's more special than that.

I took a deep breath and pulled away. Sitting back in my seat, I shut my eyes and tried to calm myself. Or lower self, if you get what I mean.

"Leon?" a small hand touched my shoulder.

"Jade, if you do not want to me to jump you here and now then let me calm myself before we do something we regret." I said in a gruff manner.

There was silence for a minute before Jade gave me the shock of my life.

"I wouldn't regret it." she mumbled.

My head snapped to her. I gaped as she winked at me with a coy smile on her face. My Adams apple bobbed up and down nervously, each breath I took came out ragged.

No girl has ever made me feel like this even if she was just teasing me.

Groaning loudly, I shut my eyes and turned away. My hands gripped the steering wheel tightly while Jade laughs at my pain.

Oh I will get her back!

Once I was calm, I turned the engine on and continued driving.

"Aw, is little Leon mad?" I took a peek at her to see Jade sticking out her bottom lip and giving me the puppy eyes.

"No." I denied, taking a left turn.

I had a place in mind where we could go and just chill out.

I felt Jade touch my cheek and then she pinched me! Gaping at her, I swatted her hand away and glared her way.

"No one pinches The Great Leon's cheeks!" I growled at her but she just laughed.

Man, I love her laugh. I love being the only one to make her smile, I'll admit, it boosts my ego knowing that I have an effect on her. But then again she has an effect on me too, not that I'm complaining.
