"Double Date"

Friday night finally came, which meant it was time to meet Regina's fiancée. Killian wasn't too thrilled to go and in all honesty I wasn't either but it's best to get this out of the way now. I'm feeding Rhea as Killian goes and opens the front door. She walks in and sits next to me. "Thank you so much Lacy, it will only be for a couple of hours." She nods. "I still don't think it's a good idea, I don't trust Regina." I sigh.

"Well we will be with her and Rhea will be here out of harms way ok?" I say and she nods. "I guess that sounds better, I know I will protect her with my life." I smile. Rhea let's go of me and I sit her up right and start to pat her back. She then burps and I smile. "Good job my little one," I say and she smiles. "I left a couple of bottles in the fridge just in case." Lacy nods.

I hug her and hold her close to my face. "Goodbye little one see you in a bit," I say and give her a kiss. Killian then comes up to me and gives her a kiss, then grabs her. "Be back my little one," he says and she grabs his face. She smiles and starts to laugh. I couldn't help but melt at the sight of that. "Emma why can't we cancel, I think our daughter wants us here with her."

I sigh. "Come on Killian, we will be back in like three hours." He sighs then hands Rhea to Lacy. "I'm just a call away ok?" I say and Lacy nods. "Yes just be careful." I look at Rhea and she starts to cry. My heart broke, but we had to leave. "You owe me big time for this Emma," Killian says as we get into the car. I sighed. "I know."

30 minutes pass by and we make it to the location. We get there and we walk up to the host. "Reservation for Regina." She looks at her list then gives us a weird look. "Um Im sorry but there's no Reservation for a Regina in our list." We both stood there baffled. "You sure?" She nods.

I call Regina and her call goes straight to voicemail. "Huh, that's weird." I say as I hang up. "She bailed on us, let's just go home," Killian says and I nod. We make our way back and I couldn't help but feel uneasy. That's when everything that my father in law and Lacy told me about Regina started to play in my mind.

We finally make it back home, and we see the front door broken in two. We gasp then ran out of the car and straight into the house. The house was a mess and I see blood everywhere. I start to panic. We walked into Rhea's room and we see Lacy there covered in blood, bruises and three bullet holes in her chest. I gasp and ran to her.

Killian searched through the room and the rest of the house for Rhea. I started to move her and she wasn't responding. I touch her neck to check for her pulse and it was barely there. I call 911 and they quickly sent an ambulance to our house. Killian comes and he has a sad look on his face. He has a note on his hand and is crying like crazy. "She's gone, our baby is gone." I gasp. "What does the note say?"

"You shouldn't have gone, now you will never see Rhea again," he says as he crumples the note. I gasp. I started to cry like crazy. My baby's gone and I'm about to lose my best friend. That's when the ambulance comes and they take her away. "An officer will be coming in shortly," the EMT says and we nod.

We stood there staring at the living room both of us heartbroken. I looked at the fridge and all the bottles of milk were gone. Well at least she won't be hungry I thought as I continued to cry. My baby is gone, I couldn't believe my baby is gone.

An officer comes and we tell him everything. That's when my parents along with his parents arrive at our house. We were both sitting on the couch with a straight face. We couldn't respond at all, we kept hearing our families voices but we kept ignoring them. Killian grabbed my hand and I held it tight.

We lost our baby today, we lost our sunshine, our everything, and it was all my fault. That's when I come back to my senses. I pushed my family away and I grabbed the keys. Killian followed right behind me as we made our way to the hospital to check up on Lacy.
