Family Car

Nothing is ever as it seems,
when your observing life from behind the scenes..
For one such family I did watch,
their dreams ripped apart..
A father had lost his job,
the bills did overwhelm..
Instead of downsizing their comforts,
in darkness his mind did dwell..
One night he tied up his family,
placing them in the garage..
He put the keys in the ignition,
turned the family car on..
He then laid down beside them,
pulled his family in close and tight..
The fumes soon put them to sleep,
suffocating them all that fateful night..
