Mine

You flip through the pages reading my dark fantasies..
Do you ever contemplate,
maybe it's not all make believe..
thinking to hide who you are..
Yet,
twisted appreciation for the dreams my voices inspire..
Waiting for you to fall asleep,
I creep into your darkest dream..
Clawing at the walls,
you desperately throw in front of me..
The smell of copper fills your room,
unable to wake..
Praying for the sun to rise,
to escape this evil fate..
Shadows start to quiver,
my time here is almost up..
Your eyes open wide,
as you feel a million small cuts..
You try to stand,
you but fall to the floor..
Two pale hands reach out from under your bed,
you are mine,
forever more..
