Alan hesitated, knowing it might scare her off, knowing that he might lose her but the look in Kaycee's eyes was the only reason he would do it. The look that made his heart ache. She loved him, and he knew that now more than ever. He took her hand and led her to the door. He took the key from a drawer near by and put it in the lock but before unlocking it he looked at her.

"Are you sure?" Kaycee nodded.

"Yes." Alan took a deep breath and unlocked the door. He turned the handle and pushed the door open. The room was dark. Kaycee hesitated but slowly entered the dark room. Once she was far enough in, Alan flicked on the lights. Kaycee hadn't said anything. She was silent as she looked around the room. Kaycee walked towards a shelf with different types of cuffs and Alan watched her and she gently touched each one. He was letting her process what was going on. He didn't want to rush her so he sat down in a chair near a large table and allowed her to look around. Alan had been watching her as she examined each shelf on the wall. She felt her stomach tighten and her pressed her thighs together slightly as she brushed her thumb against a riding crop. Alan noted this reaction in his head and slowly rose from his seat. He walked over to a tall closet and opened it revealing a multitude of whips. Kaycee chewed her lip slightly and slowly walked over to Alan, who had closed the closet. "When did you become interested in being a dominant, Alan?" He was shocked that she knew what that meant. She saw his surprised face.

"I have done my fair share of reading." Alan gave a low chuckle and pulled Kaycee closer too him.

"So, how do you feel?" Kaycee took a deep breath and narrowed her eyes slightly.

"I..I'm not sure." She began to chew her lip nervously. "This is a lot to digest.." Alan nodded.

"Of course it is. I don't expect a genuine conversation about it today. I want you to take all the time you need to process this, okay?" Kaycee nodded. He was being surprisingly reasonable. Alan slowly lead her back into the living room, locking the room behind him. Kaycee sat on the couch and stood blankly out one of the windows. Alan watched her, almost seeming concerned. Had he scared her? Pushed her away? What was going on inside that head of hers. "Kayce?" She looked at him.

"Hmm?"

"What are you thinking about?" She blushed slightly, this caught Alan's attention. He sat down next to her.

"It's just...different..that's all." Alan smiled softly. "I wasn't expecting that." Alan chuckled and gently caressed Kaycee's cheek.

"I understand that it's a lot to take in and it seems random.." Kaycee interrupted.

"Yeah..where did this come from?" Alan suddenly became very aware of a crease in his pants. "Alan.." He took a deep breath.

"Well, it was about four or five months after we split up...."
