Chapter 1~New Kid

Okay so first off, this is a VERY old book. There will be things in here that dont make sense, and there will be errors. Hence why ive put //OLD// in the title. As much as i love helpful criticism, please do so in my newer books, where it has present things that need worked on. This book has a lot of errors that i know, and dont want pointed out by millions of people over and over again😂.

~Lance~

Lance was walking down towards the Lunch table to greet his friends, Hunk, Pidge, and Shiro, and eat lunch as they normally would.
"Hey Lance" Pidge said with that joking glint in her eyes.
"What did you do Pidge?" Lance asked, slightly scared of what she would say. There is no telling what Pidge would do. Pidge was always full of mysteries.
"I signed you up for showing a new kid around school" Pidge smiled. Hunk gaged on his food, "Wait. but-"
"Pidge!" Lance sighed, "You know I don't want to make any new friends!"
Lance normally would love to meet new people, but ever sense his friend, Coran, moved to another place, he had been lonely, and stayed to himself most of the time. He didn't dare meet a new friend, afraid he'd loose him too.
"Lance, you need to meet new people. You've been so lonely lately" Shiro said, taking a bite of his food.
"But what if i don't Want to" Lance groaned in irritation. "Too bad" Pidge smiled, "Your already meeting up with him after school today. 3:30"
Lance sighed, "Fine. I'll go to the stupid "Show a kid" thing, but I'm not saying I'll become friends" Lance sighed, and Pidge nodded, "Good. oh by the way, he's a foreign exchange student. His name is Keith."

Lance sighed as he waited beside the front doors of the school. He was wondering when this "Keith" boy would show up, and it turns out he was a little late. As he walked through the doors, Lance found himself feeling a weird feeling. Boy he can sure pull off a mullet. He thought as he saw him. The Korean boy was short, with Raven hair and blue-grey, Almost Purple looking eyes. He wore a red hoodie.
"Lance right?" Keith asked as he walked over. "Yes" Lance scanned the boy over, ignoring the urge to be super loud and obnoxious.
"Okay, let's start" Keith smiled slightly, adjusting his red glasses. Lance smiled slightly, Red glasses with a red hoodie? Must like red. "That's the Gym. well, one of them anyways. we have two gyms here. my favorite is this one though. it's bigger than the other one-" Lance paused as they walked down the hallway. Keith was watching his feet, clearly annoyed at his rambling. Okay Lance. Just.. be cool. "Oh-uh-over here is the cafeteria" He showed the Raven haired boy.
"Cool" Keith said, then glanced at Lance. Lance blinked, "Do you hate me or something, Mullet?" He asked. "No, your just annoying"
"Oh please, my awesomeness covers that up" Lance fired back, crossing his arms. "Yeah. Sure" Keith mumbled. haha. he already hates me. I'm proving Pidge wrong.. but then again.. why do I wanna be his friend..? Lance sighed and continued the tour. "Over there is the hallway with all the classrooms. Your classes are most likely going to be on the left side of the room-"
"Okay" Keith interrupted. Lance growled slightly, "Oh please, you could tour better?"
"Probably" Keith said under his breath. Lance glared at him, but found himself smiling slightly. What is it that I find fun about this boy?
"Why are you smiling?" Keith asked, raising an eyebrow. "I'm not smiling" Lance turned his head away quickly, and continued the tour blindly. I hope I can befriend him..

Keith looked at Lance, "Bye. thanks for the tour"
"Bye" Lance smiled, waving. Lance frowned slightly as he just turned and walked out of the building. "There must be some way to befriend him" he whispered to himself. For the whole tour, he had been trying to make Keith laugh, but nothing worked. Not even his puns. Or at least he thought it didn't work. he was looking away for most of the time, so he didn't get to see.
"Lance!" Lance's mother smiled and waved to him. "Ya Voy, mama!"(Translation: Coming mom!) Lance shouted, dashing over. "Vamonos" Lance smiled as he hopped into the car, and his mother drove him home. I will befriend the New boy. I WILL.
