-Keith-

Keith turned his head quickly, and he felt his heart drop as he spotted Pidge.
"You thought I was Lance, huh..?" Pidge said gently, sitting in a log.
Keith nodded slightly, sitting down beside her. He spotted a small wire in the grass, and picked it up, playing with it nervously.
"I know this is hard, Keith.." Pidge sighed, gently setting her hand on his shoulder.
Keith turned to her, "Damn right its hard!" He cried, tears streaming down his face.
"Pidge! Pidge you don't understand!" He put his face in his hands, setting the wire in his lap.
"I-I.."
"You like Lance. Like, as a Like-Like" Pidge said, making Keith look up.
"Y-You know?" He asked, wiping his eyes with a sniff.
Pidge nodded, smiling slightly. She decided not to tell him Lance liked him too, because she feared that would make him feel worse.
Keith calmed himself down by playing with the wire, taking it off of his lap, as Pidge rustled through her bag and took out a small machine.
Keith looked at it and confusion filled his eyes.
"What is that?"
"It's a tracker" she smiled, "I need one more price, and I can try and find Lance!"
"What?!" Keith jumped to his feet, "What piece do you need?! Why didn't you finish it sooner!? Why didn't you tell me!?-"
"The last piece I need is very valuable. Hard to find. It will be a miracle to find a piece even the slightest bit like it- HOLY QUIZNACK! KEITH HAND ME THAT WIRE!"
Keith flinched as she grabbed it from his hands and inspected it.
"Keith! This is the piece I need!! Where did you find it?" She asked, fiddling it into her machine.
"On the forest floor" he said, watching her work.
After a few moments, she lifted it in the air. It made a beeping noise.
"I think it's found something!" She smiled brightly, and dashed off in that direction.
Keith followed quickly behind, a wide smile on his face. His heart filled with hope as they made their way down a small hill. We are coming Lance! We will find you, and I'll finally see you again.

Keith stopped running, panting as they came to a stop. It was beginning to get dark.
"He should be around here" She whispered.
"Why are you whispering?" Keith whispered back, smirking.
"Because he might be hiding from us, dum dum!" She sighed, setting the scanner down.
Keith began to search the whole area, determined to find his friend.
"Keith?" A voice made him pause.
Do I even dare turn around? What if it's not Lance?
Keith felt himself turn around, hope sparking in his dark colored eyes.
"Lance?"
"Yeah, Keith."
