so this shield agent is captured by hydra, this is years before Avengers but obviously after CA:FA, and they torture her but she's a great spy, up there with Tasha and Clint, (I'll probably get how the next part works wrong so apologies) after years of torture her mind "breaks" and as a defence mechanism it reverts to her child self, like a 5 year old, but she can also see the future past and obviously present, it can either be activated by experiments or the child thing is just an act so enemies don't think she's aa threat anymore and shes kinda like a secret weapon, this of which Fury is aware of. Meaning that her powers are actually the defense mechanism that was created. She draws what she sees (I kinda imagine that when she sees Steve in person for the first time she draws 2 pictures of Peggy, how she was before he was iced and one now that she is old and tells her that she's still alive and she lived a good life. She is part of the Avengers and she helps Fury plan his "death" so after they leave the hospital Maria takes her to where Fury is going to be.
