His regretted reject

Chapter 9

Jake POV

" Jake. Do you have everything you will need ? "My mom asked "I think so . I should be fine" I replied
"I know. You are strong " she says and holds me close and hugs me tight "I love you mom " I say as I hug tight II n return

"No you can't go !! Neither of you two can go. What about school ? What about your life here. ? " I hear shouting from next door

I hear this shouted from the side and i know that voice , Riders mother . That women scared the shit out of me she is a very intense person. 

"But mom Jake needs us. we have to go he will not survive out there without us. the world will eat him ALIVE " Rose says VERY dramatically. her mother looks over

" Do you even know where you going ? " Roses mother askes with a scowle on her face

"Yes I do , we going to his aunt's house " she sasses her mother

The next thing I see is Rose's mother eyes twitch with fury. I smile cause I know that Rose'motger hates being sassed. Riders eyes go wide cause he knows what's coming next.

Rose clicked and but it was to late Roses mother grabs her by the ear and shouts " Listen here girly Imma beat you if you ever speak to me like that again"

"I'm sorry" Rose repeats over and over. "Good " Her mother's says and let's go. I chuckle at the sight . Roses mother turns and glares at me. I stop chuckling in fear for my life

Like I said pretty intense.  

"Time for me to leave I guess " I says quickly avoiding an ass whooping 

"Ok bye mom " I say and look over to Rose and Rider having an argument with their mother trying to convince her  that i needed for them to come along

"Mom can we please go I will make sure all three of us get into a school when we arrive there and start as soon as possible" Rose says knowing that saying that will win brownie points  

" And how are you gonna pay for the fees ? " Her mother questions . Rose's face goes blank "ummmmmmm" she says desperately think of a answer "You can send us the money to pay for it ?"  She she says hoping for a positive response

"Mmmm well ok then but if I hear that you aren't keeping your grades up then I will drive there and fetch both you pups and drag you back by your ears"  thier mother says and I see Riders face pale as he placed his hand over his ear

"Deal " Rose says hugs her mom and rushs to my car before her mom changes her mind

Rider looks at his mother and  signs ' I love you mom and I will miss you tons ' his mother sheds a year and hugs her dear son tight .

As Rider walks to the car and packs his things in the car I hug my mom a final time "love you mom". I say and turn around d and get in my car

Once in the car I wipe my eye from the small years that have formed in my eyes

I will definitely miss my family Soo much

I turn the key and pull out the drive way and drive down the street

"Soooooooo. How long is this trip ? " Rose asks  I look at her and say "15 hours " her face pales and she mumbled " I have serious regrets ".   I laugh knowing that she is just joking  

I feel a tap on my shoulder and see Rider in the rear view mirror as he signs ' where does you aunt stay that it's such a far drive away  ?'. I smile and reply " well she lives on the south east coast in a small town called hearth Valley "   his pulls a face and Rose says " never heard of it "   I smile and reply " don't worry I didn't know it existed until my aunt moved there "

"Why did she even leave the pack ? " Rose inquires curiously ". She is mated to the alpha of the pack that is in that territory

"Oh I see". Rose says as she starts fiddling with the radio.

Rider taps Roses shoulder ' pass me the aux I'll play the music ' he signs she pulls a face and hesitates "ok but the moment any of you metal or alternative music starts playing Imma take that cable back faster than you can blink

' ok I'll play some Pentatonix ' he signs.   Rose smiles and nods in approval
