The marks healed and the sins forgiven and forgotten , everything is anew. The mark of a once hole on my neck signified my strength and the gift of new life..it also represents the patience,understanding, compassion and love that the people showed me.

It's been a year since the accident and I am now completely healed. The gift and chance of new life opened my eyes to the fact that we should never let any opportunity pass. The opportunity to let people know we love them, the opportunity to forgive, the opportunity to love and to take chances.

I took in a deep breath of the cold air from the ocean. Nasa isang private resort kami ni Brit,celebrating our first anniversary. Ngayon lang namin kinoncider na talagang anniversary na namin.. madaming nangyari na.. pero sa dinami dami mg pinagdaanan namin, ngayon palang kami magcecelebrate.

Tinanaw ko ang malawak na karagatan at wala sa loob na napakapa sa bulsa ng suot kong warmer. Nandoon ang singsing na dinesign ko mismo para sa sa special na araw na ito.

I heard the sound of violin a little bit far from my direction signifying na nandiyan na si Brit. Excited na tumayo ako sa gilid ng tent na gawa sa cream shades na tela at may laces sa gilid na dinesignan namin ng mga helpers ng candles at flowers na nasa dalampasigan. May bilog na table iyon sa gitna with seat for two. Sa ilalim ay dama ang white sand at manaka nakang paghalik ng tubig dagat sa paanan ko. Kalmado ang hangin at ang alon na tila nakikisama sa amin, making this moment perfect.

I saw her walking towards me on a short peach dress. I smiled as I saw her face lit up with surprise and amazement. Napatakip pa sya sa bibig nya at napahinto sa paglalakad na ikinainip ko naman kaya excited na lumakad ako towards her. I handed her a bouquet of her favorite tulips and roses and kissed her lips.

"Happy Anniversary baby!" I exclaimed.

Napayakap sya sa akin at hindi ko na din napigil ang mga luha ko ng makita kong umiiyak sya. Tahimik na ninamnam namin ang oras na iyon. I know that we're both crying because after all that we've been through, we're still strong together and we are just both too happy because of that.

"Happy anniversary baby. I love you so much!" Sumisigok sigok pa na bati nya sa akin. Inakay ko sya papunta sa table namin at saka lumapit ang mga server para iserve ang pagkain namin.

"Thank you." She politely said to the server. If there is one thing that I noticed about Brit after I woke up, iyon ay mas naging responsible at appreciative sya. Sa tagal nya akong inalagaan, masasabi ko na mas nag grow sya as an individual.

I raised my glass of wine and offered a toast and we both took a sip from our glasses. She smiled habang ibinababa ang baso nya.

"Bakit ang dami mo namang pinaluto? At in fairness babe ah, nacheck mo ang isang box sa bucket list ko!"magiliw na sabi nya.

Curious na tumaas ang kilay ko at napatingin sa kanya.

"Which one?" I asked.

"A candlelit dinner on the sea shore on a full moon."she smiled.

Napatingin naman ako sa buwan and it is indeed a full moon. Napangiti ako at nakatawang inilipat ko ang upuan at plate ko sa mismong tabi nya.

"Bakit ka lumipat?"natatawang sabi nya.

"Eh gusto ko eh, para I'm always right beside you."nakatawang sagot ko.

"Ewwww!!corny mo baby!!!"natatawang sagot nya naman.

Naramdaman ko ang pamumula ng mukha ko.
