Madalyn's POV:

I shut and lock my door before walking to my car. I shut the door and collect myself before turning on the ignition.

I pull out of my driveway and drive down the street. I try to blast my music to drown out my thoughts. But nothing could erase what today's mark left in my head.

Today, two years ago, was the day I met him. The only man or person I've ever loved in my life. But it was also the day that last year, he left me.

After that, I never spoke to him again. We never talked, like we were now strangers.

Just then, a wonderful song came on the radio. Note the sarcasm.

Cue song

It wasn't until the end of the song that I realized that tears were streaming down my face. I also found out that I parked at the spot where I first met him.

Capitol Park

I sighed and turn my car off. I climbed out and walked down the long sidewalk. I took in my surroundings. Couples enjoying a walk. Geese swimming in the pond. I walked closer to the lakes surface.

"Madalyn?" A voice says behind me.

"Yessum?" I say turning. As soon as I did that I wished I'd never had cone here in the first place.

There he was. Levi Ackerman.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

He shrugs, looking at me. The look that makes me melt.

"Well, you know what today is..I figure I come here. For memories, you know?" He explained.

I blink in shock. He was here because this is where we met?

"I also wanted to see you again."He said sheepishly.

I smile slightly and offer my hand. He catches his breath but accepts it.

We walk hand in hand for a while, saying nothing. I want to tell him so desperately that I still love him, that I can't stop thinking about him..but how?

"Levi-" I begin.

Levi's POV:

I couldn't resist it anymore. She was just beautiful. I pulled her closer to me and kissed her throughly. She seemed surprised at first but kissed back. She pressed closer to me as I did to her.

We parted and she looked deep into my eyes.

"Why did you leave me?" She asked. But she didn't seem hurt, just curious.

"Well, I knew that I wasn't good enough. So I followed the advice. If you love someone, let them go.." I explain.

I expected a slap or a least for her to walk away, but she kissed me again. I kissed her back again and I felt her smile beneath the kiss.
