The Inhibitor Rings

Sonic's POV
I wonder how powerful Shadow actually is. He claims to never attack me full strength. But if he doesn't have those rings on his wrists, how powerful is he? He's able to take them off, but never wants to. I know that he needs them in order to do chaos control and all that, but what could I do with them? I might be able to run faster, or even do chaos control with one emerald like Shadow! Maybe I could tell Tails to make me some. I mean it's worth a shot if you ask me!

--A few minutes later--

"Hey, Tails," I said. Tails replied, "Hi, Sonic! What brings you here? Something need fixing?" "Nothing needs fixing, I wanted to talk to you about something," I said. "Okay go right ahead!" Tails replied. "Okay, so Shadow has these rings that help him become more powerful. I was wondering if you could make me some so that we can see what happens to my attacks. Maybe it will be more powerful, or I could run even faster! It'd be a cool project, don't you think?" I said, super fast with excitement. Tails replied, "Yeah, it would be really cool, but I need to see how Shadow's are put together, and see if you can handle that much power. The only problem is..." "We haven't seen Shadow in forever," we say together. "I could go find him. Maybe if I need to talk to eggman. If anything goes wrong, I'll use our signal. Okay?" I ask, running around everywhere. "Okay. Just be careful. Shadow is a tricky hedgehog," Tails replies. "I know," I say. "Well, see ya later, Sonic!" Tails yells as I'm out the door.
