Sonic's POV
"Um.... Sonic are you okay?" Tails asks. "Yeah, just got lost into thought," I explain. "Okay then. Shadow may I see your wrist?" Tails asks. "Sure," Shadow replied, putting his arm on the table.
--A few minutes later--
"Okay, we're all done for today," Tails said, because he had other work to do. Shadow and I left the room together.
"So, um, do you wanna go anywhere?" I ask Shadow. "I'd rather stay here," he replied. "Okay. Would you like anything to eat or drink?" I ask. "I'd like some water, but I don't need to eat anything right now," he replied. "Okay," I said, leaving the room to get him some water.
Shadow's POV
Wow. Everyone here is so nice. I wish it was like this on Space Colony Ark. Maria and I could've lived in peace together, instead of what did happen. Maria would've liked Earth. She already knew though. Maybe I should tell someone about my feelings and I might not be so quiet. Maybe I'll get to know Sonic more. He seems really nice.
--A few minutes later--
Sonic came back with some water. He seems to like being around me. I think I'll tell him soon. Right now we're watching some show on TV, but I'm not really paying attention. I'm just looking at Sonic. He seems cute. I don't know why, but I kind of like him. Although he probably can't run super fast or fight super strong like me. I hope I get to spend a long time with this hedgehog. He'll probably just think it's weird I'm gay though. There's so much I want to say, but I don't trust anyone in this world yet. Maybe I'll spend enough time with Sonic to trust him. Only one way to find out though.
