"What is it?" Maria asked.

"Look." I slid the book across the table to her and she read it.

"This means we have a chance." Maria stood up, "shall we tell them ?"

"Come on." I nodded, excitement coursing through my veins.

We took the secret passageway to the meeting room, hoping that the two of them were still there.

They were.

Maria handed the book to Dominic. He gave me a confused look before reading the passage.

"Well done." He said to Maria.

"I didn't find it." She shrugged.

"Well done." Dominic said to me with a smile.

I was too happy to answer and just gave a broad grin.

"Can someone tell me what it says?" Leo asked impatiently.

"According to the passage, there is a plant that grows in Ralia which can be used to treat the poison." Maria answered, "while it may not act as an antidote, we can still save lives."

"Maybe we can use it as an antidote." Dominic suggested, "I need to talk to Cleo."

"I'll get her." I said in my enthusiasm and was about to leave the room when I realised something.

I didn't know where she was.

"Um." My cheeks burned, "does anyone know where she is?"

Leo burst out laughing while Dominic gave an amused grin.

"I'll go find her." Maria chuckled before leaving.

"It isn't that funny." I frowned at Leo.

"Sit." Dominic gestured towards the chair besides him and I did.

"Oh my goodness." Leo clutched his stomach and laughed as though it was the most hilarious thing ever.

"You did good." Dominic said.

"Thanks." I was positive that my face was red.

"Alright that's enough." Dominic said to Leo, "you're embarrassing her."

Leo bit his fist to cut down the noise but couldn't stop shaking. Dominic threw him an exasperated look.

"So you're allowed to embarrass her and I'm not?" Leo smirked.

"Of course." Dominic answered shamelessly, earning a frown from me.

"And why is that?" Leo challenged.

"Because she's mine." Dominic answered.

"I'm not a piece of furniture." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh I know." Dominic gave a teasing smile in return.

"Well in that case, she is ours too." Leo said, "Our friend. Our sister. Our Queen."

Dominic was about to reply when Maria returned with Cleo. I was quite grateful. We showed Cleo what we had found.

"I would like to send a letter to my mother." She requested, waiting for Dominic's permission.
