Mr. Yung lectured for a while before passing out a worksheet and letting the students work on it in groups. Usually Jimin would work with Taehyung and some of the other students that Taehyung was friends with. But today he decided to invite the new student to join them. He turned around in his seat and smiled at the black haired male.

"Hi, I'm Jimin, do you want to work with me and Taehyung?" Jimin asked the male sitting behind him. Jungkook looked at Jimin with a blank face before nodding slowly and somewhat stiffly.

"Ok, let's move our desks together then." Jimin said as Taehyung pushed his desk over to them and introduced himself to Jungkook. The three of them worked on the assignment diligently and were able to finish it relatively quickly. From that small interaction Jimin had learned that Jungkook wasn't much of a talker and only spoke when spoken to. Another thing Jimin learned was that Jungkook was smart, really smart.

"So Jungkook-ah how old are you?" Taehyung asked deciding to make small talk since they had already turned in their assignment and had nothing better to do.

"Just turned fifteen," Jungkook replied.

"Fifteen? Oh, then you're younger than us?" Taehyung exclaimed surprised.

"How old are you?" Jungkook asked seemingly unsurprised that they weren't the same age.

"We're sixteen, but we're about to turn seventeen," Jimin answered.

"How is it you're in your sophomore year already?" Taehyung asked curiously.

"I skipped a few grades," Jungkook answered.

"Wow! Well I guess that's to be expected since you're so smart." Taehyung said praising the younger and Jimin nodded in agreement. Honestly the black haired male reminded him of Namjoon in that sense. Namjoon hadn't skipped any grades but was the smartest person Jimin knew in their school. Namjoon was in his junior year but was taking second year college courses rather than high school classes. Jimin was still unsure how that was even possible but apparently it was. Namjoon was also special in another way, there were green strings attached to his brain.

Jimin had never met the other people on the ends of those strings and still hadn't figured out what the green string represented. He had only seen the green strings on two other people. One being his father's boss at work and the other being his mother's sister who he'd see every Christmas when the whole family would gather together. Even though Jimin had yet to figure out what the green strings were for he figured it had to deal with intelligence in some way since it was connected to the forehead.

"I'm not that smart. I just study a lot." Jungkook said disagreeing with Taehyung.

"It doesn't matter how you became smart, the fact is you're smart." Taehyung said dismissing Jungkook's statement with a small flick of his wrist. "So Jungkookie, can I call you that? I give all my friends nicknames, and I think Jungkookie is a cute nickname, so you're just going to have to accept it. And even if you can't now that's ok, cause Suga hyung was like that too, he hated me calling him Suga, but he's so sweet like sugar despite his tough exterior. And so I kept calling him Suga and now he accepts it cause everyone in our friend group started calling him Suga too. Honestly it'd be best if you just be like Jiminie and accept it from the beginning. Why can't everyone be like you Jiminie? It would be so wonderful after all my nicknames are amazing and-"

"Tae, I think he gets the idea already, don't you Jungkookie?" Jimin said cutting Taehyung off and turning to face the youngest for confirmation. Jungkook nodded his head wide-eyed and looking a bit confused causing the other two males to giggle.

"Good, anyway I was going to ask why you're transferring in so late in the year?" Taehyung asked.

"Ah, it's because my dad got a promotion from his job and it required him to relocate to Seoul. Before this, we lived in Busan." Jungkook said.

"Oh Busan? Jiminie's from Busan too!" Taehyung exclaimed happily.

"You are?" Jungkook asked turning to Jimin and Jimin nodded with a bright smile.

"Yea I am but we moved to Seoul years ago," Jimin said in satori causing Jungkook to look at him in surprise before grinning widely.

"Ah, that's cool!" Jungkook replied also in satori.

The three males talked until class ended and lunch began. Jimin asked Jungkook to join them for lunch which the younger was happy to accept. They walked together towards the lunch room and Jimin could see two of their friends at their usual table. Seokjin who was the oldest was sitting at one of the corners of the table. He was dolled up as usual, wearing a crisp fitted baby blue shirt, dark blue jeans, and his hair was styled making him look as flawless as ever. Beside Seokjin sat Yoongi who was about the same height as Jimin maybe a centimeter or two taller. Yoongi wore his usual white t-shirt with words written in English on it. He wore ripped jeans and had completed the look with a black beanie over his messy dark red hair.

"This is Jin hyung and Suga hyung. They are both in their senior year. This is Jungkookie, he just joined our class." Taehyung said introducing everyone to one another once the three younger males made it to the table.

"Where's Namjoon hyung?" Jimin asked noticing the pink haired male wasn't there.

"Oh he's coming he just had to go to the restroom. Nice to meet you Jungkookie? My name's actually Seokjin, but Jin works just fine." Seokjin said with a smile.

"Your name not really Jungkookie is it?" Yoongi asked with narrowed eyes and the younger shook his head.

"It's actually Jungkook. And Suga hyung's real name is Yoongi" Jimin decided to say and the two just nodded in acknowledgment.

"Hey guys." Jimin heard Namjoon say as he approached their table alone with another male. Namjoon was wearing black jeans and gray long sleeved shirt, and had a green jacket thrown over it. The male beside him was shorter than Namjoon but taller than Jimin, he had short brown hair that was on the lighter end of the spectrum. He wore faded blue jeans, a green shirt, and a black sweater over it. And Jimin noticed that the male had a dark blue string attaching his heart to Namjoon's.

"Who's this?" Namjoon asked when he was close enough to notice Jungkook.

"He's new to Jimin and Taehyung's class. His name is Jungkook." Jin said as he looked at the male beside Namjoon with slightly narrowed eyes.

Jimin knew Jin was wondering if the new guy would be trouble for his love life. Jin and Namjoon were connected to each other by a red string which glowed almost as brightly as the new white string that now connected Jimin's heart to Jungkook's.

"Oh we got a new student too! Everyone this is Hoseok. Hoseok, these are my friends, Yoongi hyung but we call him Suga, Taehyung, and Jimin. And this is Seokjin hyung, he likes to go by Jin, and he's my boyfriend. Also Suga and Jin are older than us so you should call them hyung. Jimin and Taehyung are younger and I'm assuming so is Jungkook so they are our dongsaengs. " Namjoon said taking a seat across from Jin and patting the seat beside him for Hoseok to sit in.

"Nice to meet you all!" Hoseok said to them smiling very brightly, Jimin wasn't sure if he'd ever seen a smile that bright. As Hoseok sat down strings began to attach themselves to the others. Blue strings from his wrist formed with every one of them except Taehyung and Yoongi, instead red strings formed with them connecting their hearts together. Oh, that's interesting, Jimin thought looking at the three-way string forming between the three. Taehyung sure was amazing, having two people to love and so many deep friendships.

"Well looks like our small group of five has now grown to a group of seven," Taehyung commented looking around at everyone with a pleased smile.

"Hmm yeah." Jimin agreed happy to have made new friends. He looked forward to the developing his relationships with the two new students.
