Jimin saw his mother for breakfast the next morning and she told informed them that she'd pack their things for the weekend, so they could leave right after the two got home from school. She asked them if there was anything, in particular, they wanted her to pack for them. Jimin didn't have anything and Jihyun merely asked her to pack his iPod. She nodded and after they finished eating she shooed them off to school, letting them know she'd pick them up so they didn't have to walk home.
The school day went by much too slow for Jimin. He was impatient for the day to end so his mother could pick them up and take them to Busan. He really wanted to his grandmother and grandfather. He knew he wouldn't be able to do much for his grandmother, but he hoped to be of some help to his grandfather when he got there. It couldn't be easy for his grandfather to suddenly be alone at home without his wife. Sure, his son (Jimin's dad) was there, but for as long as Jimin had known his grandparents, he knew they had never been apart for more than a day.
"Alright, class split up into groups again and discuss what you'd like to do for the project." He heard the teacher's voice cut into his thoughts. Jimin blinked confused, he hadn't been paying attention and now he was lost.
"Um..what project is he talking about?" Jimin asked once he'd turned to Jungkook. Taehyung brought his desk closer and joined them.
"You don't usually doze off in class, what were you thinking about?" Taehyung asked Jimin.
"Oh...um my grandparents. I forgot to tell you since I was sick, but my grandparents were involved in the car crash that was on the news a few days ago." Jimin answered looking down.
"What? Really, oh no...are they ok?" Taehyung asked. The younger knew just how much Jimin cared for his grandparents and the news was shocking to him, to say the least.
"Not exactly...but hopefully they will be. We're going to see them after school today. I'll be spending the weekend over at their house." Jimin replied before asking once again what the assignment was.
Taehyung and Jungkook explained the assignment and then the three discussed what they should do. In the end, they decided to make a video for the project and then began discussing times they would be able to meet up next week to work on it. After that class was over and the school day was finished. As he was about to rush out of the classroom he remembered he had promised Mrs. Lee to see her after school today. He groaned and texted his mom he'd be outside in a couple of minutes as he rushed off to Mrs. Lee's office after saying his farewell to Jungkook and Taehyung.
