It was a sunny day at Bygone Island. You, Sonic and Amy are lounging under an umbrella. Nearby, Knuckles and Sticks are playing volleyball. Then Sonic smiled and commented, "There's nothing like a lazy day on the beach." You nodded as the volleyball bounces near Amy. She picks it up and throws it back to Sticks, who sighs happily, "It's nice to breathe in that beautiful saltwater air and relax. For the first time, I feel totally stress-free." Then As Stick was about to play volleyball, Tails shouted, "Hey, guys!" Causing to startle the brown female badger and drops into her alert stance.

Tails arrives, pushing something covered by a cloth bag, "I just perfected my most brilliant invention yet. Meet UT, the Universal Translator. Designed to translate any language into our own." He said, as he uncovers Universal Translator. Sonic, Amy, and Sticks look at it, seemingly unimpressed. You smiled happily as you looked at the small robot. "Allow me to demonstrate." Said Tails to direct everyone's attention to a mother bird feeding her babies nearby. Universal Translator watches them for a while, then turns around and translates for the baby bird, "The fact that you pre-chew my food is repulsive."

"Hey! It works!" Smiled Knuckles "Didn't see that one coming." Said UT, next to him. But he then got confused, "Um... it's still talking?" "I thought this thing only translated birds." "Since what you're saying doesn't need to be translated, UT is translating it into what you really mean!" Explained Tails with a smile as UT translated, "I didn't intend for it to do that, but I will gladly accept full credit." "That's great, Tails!" Then UT said, "Pretty lame." Amy's eyes then widened and stammered, "T-that's not what I was thinking at all." UT then rolled up to her and said, "Man, I am totally busted."

Amy then hid behind you and glared at Tails, "Tails, I think it needs some more work." Then, "If that thing doesn't shut its metal-trap, I think I might die." You rolled your eyes playfully. As UT looked at you and translated, "Amy, chill. It can't hear EVERYONE'S mind." You looked at it and gave it a glare, "Did it just read my mind?"

"Wait? This thing reads minds?" Asked Sticks as she looked down at it as UT repeated, "Wait. This thing reads minds."

Sticks pulls out her boomerang and is about to attack UT, but Knuckles restrains her, "Now! Calm down, Sticks!" But UT translated, "Take it easy, whack-job." "Hey!" Shouted Sticks as the robot said, "I am displeased." But Sonic then tried to break the fight, "Don't be offended, Sticks. Knuckles didn't mean to think that." Then UT translated, "He's not the sharpest tool in the shed." Knuckles growled and wanted to attack him but you stopped them, "OK! Relax, you two!" Then UT translated to you, "Trust me, I've been there before." "Yeah, (Y/n)'s right!" Commented Sonic as UT then said, "And that's what I like about her." You blushed as UT said, "Say what now?"

"Tails, I think it's best if you shut that thing off. We don't want it to reveal anything too, sensitive." Said Amy as UT then said, "Shut that thing up before it tells Sonic that I-" Then the two-tailed fox shuts it off "looooo..." Then Sonic scratched his head, "Uh, what was he saying?" But Amy put her hands up in defence, "NOTHING! Nothing important!" She said as she chuckles nervously.

You smirked at Amy as everyone went back to what they were doing. You sat back on your chair, still looking at Amy with big puppy eyes. She looked at you and asked, "What?" You giggled and whispered, "I'm thinking that you have a crush on Sonic." She then looks at you and covers your mouth, "Shh!! Be quiet!! Before someone would hear you!!" You removed her hand and giggled, "Come on, is it true?" She then looked around and shook her head, "Nope! I'm not interested in love right now!" You rolled you eyes playfully. But you glanced at Sonic, who was looking at you or Amy, but looked straight and whistles innocently. You wondered though, was he looking at you or Amy?
