Sonic's POV
"Breaking news! An epidemic is sweeping across the globe. Beaver Fever!" Said the news reporter, Soar the Eagle. Then, a few people from the village, who was watching the news from the public television, just stepped away from Fastidious Beaver. "I'm not talking about an actual disease, of course. I'm colourfully describing the mania surrounding teen singing sensation... Justin Beaver." He finished.

Oh great. Another child singing on stage. Just what the world needed! And that was sarcasm.

A series of clips show on TV Justin Beaver on stage, then waving to a group of fans, then running away from photographers.

"Girls everywhere are going gaga over this teen heartthrob. They just can't get enough of him..." But then I get lost in my thoughts. I wonder if (Y/n) won't fall for him... I know she likes whatever Amy likes but... What if she does fall in love with that singer? What if she leaves me for him?! Even if we're not dating!!

"Just what the world needs. Another cookie-cutter pop star force-fed to us by the man!" Said Sticks, snapping me out of my thoughts. I shook my head from my thoughts and agreed with her, "You're right. This 'Beaver Fever' thing is clearly just a marketing ploy to sell sub-standard music to gullible teenage girls. Who could possibly fall for it?" I said as Amy and (Y/n) ran up to us, smiling and holding a lot of Justin Beaver merchandise. Oh boy.

"Isn't Justin Beaver great?! When we listened to his first song, 'Girl, I Like You', we weren't sure if Justin was actually talking about us." Said Amy as (Y/n) nodded and added, "But then his next song was titled 'Yes, I'm Actually Talking About You', and we, like, totally freaked out!" Squealed (Y/n), jumping up and down. "How can you allow yourselves to become a pawn of the corporate fat cats?" Asked Sticks, looking kinda worried for them. But (Y/n) blinked as Amy replied, "Wait! Before you judge, just listen to one track. I don't want to overhype it but he's the greatest entertainer who ever lived!" Screamed Amy as she threw her stuff into the air, revealing her Justin Beaver T-shirt.

I looked at (Y/n) who dropped her things, revealing another Justin Beaver shirt, well there goes my chance on asking her out.

We were all at Amy's house, listening to one of Justin Beaver's songs. But as I listened, I looked at Amy and (Y/n), who are absolutely giddy about it. But I got to the radio and finally turned the radio off. "Ugh... that was terrible!" I groaned, looking at the girls. "I finally have a soundtrack for my nightmares!" Agreed Knuckles. But then Sticks blurted out, "I... love it!"

"I knew I could rely on Sticks to be the voice of reason!" Said Amy, standing up with her and (Y/n). "Yeah! You have such a great taste in music, Sticks!" She cheered, making me to roll my eyes. "We're through the looking glass here, people. White is black, and black is white." Said Tails. But then Amy giggled bubbly as she said to Sticks, "Wait until you hear the rest of the album!" Then, the three girls started to squeal like crazy fangirls.

I rolled my eyes, "Hey, Sticks. (Y/n). You two still on for rock climbing tomorrow?" I asked, hoping they would say "yes". But Sticks first said, "Uh, sure. Whatever." "Hm? Yeah. Maybe." Said (Y/n), not really listening to me. But, the three started squealing again. Oh boy.
