Sometimes silence is awkward. Sometimes it's respectful. Sometimes it's just because no one knows what to say.
Right now is one of those times.
I know what's going to happen in the future.
More importantly, I can change it.
I immediately think of the season 2 finale... Henry Allen's death. I think of Flashpoint: Diggle's son, Cisco's brother, Caitlin's powers, Julian. But most of all, I think of Barry. The look on his face when Zoom phased his arm through his father's heart. The pain that was evident in his scream. I have to tell him, I have to warn him.
I feel like I've been thinking for hours, but I realise it can't have been more than a minute, perhaps two.
I open my mouth to say something, but Harry, having snapped out of his daze, slaps his hand over my mouth.
"You cannot tell us anything about the future, do you understand?" he asks. I nod, despite what I had intended on saying, and he removes his hand from over my mouth.
"Ok, so we need to treat this like when I time travel, right?" Barry says. "You can't tell us anything that might change the future."
"But-" I begin, but Barry cuts me off.
"No exceptions!"
"Fine" I reluctantly agree.
I will keep what I know to myself, but I am sure of one thing... I am not going to let Zoom kill Barry's father.
