"I'll go get some," Chad stood up from the couch stretching.

I sat up looking in my empty bowl with a frown. "Don't be ridiculous...it's after midnight!"

"Yeah, well I can't have you sitting there...looking like that." He shook his head laughing." We obviously can't have a shortage of rocky road ice cream in this house."

"You don't have to," I put my bowl down and looked up at him.

"Just keep the movie paused. There's a twenty four hour gas station down the street." He slid on his house slippers and picked up his keys. "I'll be back in ten minutes." He glanced my way. "Keep the door locked, ok?"

I nodded my head. "Ok." I got up walking towards him.

"Oh," he quickly turned around. "Please don't answer the door if Niki comes over. If she happens to show up...I will deal with her."

I laughed. "So you won't let me smash her pretty nose?"

"I could care two shits about that," he raised his eyebrows. "I don't want you to get all worked up. Just lock up behind me and relax until I get back," he smiled.

"You're no fun," I was smiling. "But I won't answer if she does."

"Thanks," he pulled the door closed and I locked it.

Today was a fairly good day. I managed to cry only twice, and one of those times being because I stubbed my toe on the coffee table. Gemma spent the first half of the day with me. We went to the spa getting a massage and our toes done. She likes Chad, and that makes me being here a lot easier. She laughed when I told her what happened with Niki, telling me there was no way that woman would win her or Harry over. Even though I found out from her that Niki had been over to the house, to speak with Harry. I don't know what they spoke about, and Gemma doesn't either. I guess it's none of my business really. But I would love nothing better than to yank her luscious red hair out.

We went to my appointment the other day, and the baby is doing great. She is growing beautifully. We have decided to not find out the sex, which is driving Gemma crazy! So for the time being I refer to it as a she.

And the place I was moving to suddenly came up with some plumbing issues. So I'm not exactly sure when it'll be ready now. Luckily Chad is understanding. And being next to a police station helps because there's always patrol cars riding around.

I was coming out of the bathroom making my way down the hallway, when I heard the front door unlock with Chad stepping in.

"I picked up three pints," he held up the bag.

"Jesus!" I laughed. "That should be good for a while."

"What..for the next few days?" He chuckled.

My mouth opened. "Hey!" I smacked his shoulder. "Be nice. I'm not that fat," I took the bag from him and put two containers in the freezer. I then walked to the living room getting my bowl.
