tuesday's musings

and while i slept i waited for the flood to blow through. to carry away my organs and thoughts tied to the hooks of anchors away, away, for the ocean to tuck me inside of its pockets. and forget. save for when it opens for morning, then i flush out like everything else. bobbing up and down in ocean like fish, like shark. sharpening my teeth on my fingernails. i think i was here in my past life. i just fall into place.

this isn't very good but i bought some golden rings and red earrings last friday and ive taken to pretending they're from my three spouses, namely, steffan argus and yara shahidi. i haven't decided on the third one yet so i'm taking applications. happy sunday of lent!
