im hiding inside my forest. blackened trees and curled leaves im hiding behind the branches. stringy and pronged like the deer im not eating so i can fit under the flowers. swallow the bud and extinguish the light im almost as small as the birds. who are bigger than the bees so eat my own wings and im smaller than them too. who are bigger than ants so drink my own heart i follow them too. im hiding under carcass thrown to the floor. im hiding inside of myself.
