Every heart has a dark and light side
Both are torn, both sides tied
Tied by the conflicts you face
Torn apart by the gaping abyss of space
The space you put between yourself and them
Each one of them a hidden gem
But, the dark side of this heart
Is the very thing that'll tear it apart
Yet with dark comes the light
And the two sides often do fight
The battle, the pain, the unimaginable choice
The silent scream, the unheard voice
On the surface the words I'm fine
But we all know that's crossing a line
Underneath is where the truth does lie
Help me even as you cry
Part of life is learning to cope
And always remember Never give up hope
