Link Of Nightmare

I have a little error about typing in the original, so I fixed it

Okay people. After this chapter or another one, I'll take a short break

It's not because of stress, pressures or anything. I just need to concentrate on the tests I'll have in a couple of days. I'll get back when everything is done

By the way, I changed the cover and the description. Cool huh? Serena's face that looks like she was controlled, and some random matrix... I think it kinds suits the storyline

But anyway, enjoy this chapter

"Ash, where are you?" The robot girl, Serena, shouted desperately in darkness. All she saw was red and just red. She was floating in the middle of nowhere

"Ash, I'm scared. Please, answer me!" She shouted again, and this time she saw a female figure appeared. She had the same honey blond hair like her, but her eyes were red and she glowed a dark red light. She soon found out it was her, but stranger

"Who are you?! And where is Ash?!" She asked the figure, but it didn't answer. Then she saw another figure ran to her. It was Ash

"Ash, I'm here! Hurry!" She called Ash, but the figure blocked his way. Then its body started to be surrounded with a dark red aura, and before Serena knew it, the aura turned into an energy wave and was discharged. Ash got hit and faded away.

"ASH! NO!" She ran to where Ash faded away, but the figure blocked her way. This time, it pulled out a knife

"DoN't yOu noTicE? YoU KillEd hIm!" The figure spoke out an unstable language, then stabbed Serena with it.

"NOOOO!" She yelled and woke up. She realized it was a nightmare. However, she turned her head and looked at Ash's bed to see he wasn't there. Soon she thought the fact Ash was killed had come to reality and sobbed.

"ASH! ASH! ARE YOU THERE?! PLEASE, ANSWER ME!" She yelled desperately then she felt someone put a hand on her shoulder.

"Serena, I'm here! What happened?" The familiar male voice spoke out behind her. She turned around and found out it was Ash. However, she felt scared more than happy. She pushed Ash away and stepped back

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" Serena shouted and started tearing up.

"Serena, what's wrong? Just answer me" Ash said softly and slowly stepped to her, but she ran to the corner of the room

"You don't understand! I'm a monster! You will be killed!" She shouted and shedded more tears. Ash quickly embraced and pulled her into a hug, letting her sobbed in his chest

"You met another nightmare, right?" Ash asked softly and she nodded, still mumbled in her voice that she was a monster. Ash rubbed her back and patted her head, tried to comfort her. She soon stopped crying and looked up to him

"Ash, do you think... I'm a monster?" She said painfully. Ash wiped away her tears and lifted her face up

"No, you're not. You are a sweet person, the sweetest robot I've ever seen." Ash said and he saw her smile again. He knew she had suffered a lot of pain and sacrifices. She had to sacrifice for him and also suffered the pain when he was kidnapped by Alain. As he was thinking, the nurse walked in the room.

"Mr. Ketchum, I know your pain has gone, but you shouldn't move too much. Anyway, your breakfast is prepared. Do you want us to take you out for eating or serve right here?" The nurse asked. Ash looked at Serena and saw she was holding his cured arm tight. She shook her head, not wanting to let him go.

"I'll have breakfast in the hospital room, please." Ash said

"Good. Then we'll do the last checkup and you're free to go" The nurse said and left the room. Ash looked at Serena and talked about her nightmare

"Can you tell me what happened?" Ash asked

"Well, I saw myself floating in some red place. Then I saw a clone, looked like me, but with red eyes and red aura. Then that girl killed you and was about to kill me. Luckily I woke up, but I still remember that nightmare" She said and bowed her head, but he lifted it up

"Look, that dream is just a nightmare. Don't think too much about it. Just forget it and move on, okay?" Ash asked and she nodded, let out a smile.

However, Ash said that just to comfort her. In his mind, he was thinking about all the events. From Serena's first nightmare showing he was killed, and same with this nightmare, to the thing Gary said before: the dark red energy from Serena. Looked like there was something wrong with Serena, or this was the additional effect of the Emotion Chip.

After he had his breakfast, both of them walked out the hospital. Ash walked normally, but Serena still held his arm, the injured one

"Serena, I told you. There's nothing to worry about that arm" He said

"Ash, I'm trying to help you. If you fall on this arm then you will probably break it. Beside, your legs aren't steady. You need someone to keep you on balance" Serena said and Ash just smile because of how caring she was

They walked more steps but she tripped, falling on her knee. Because she was holding his arm, she accidentally pulled Ash down with her. Their faces crashed to each other, but her lips kissed an unexpected part on his face, caused him to get back up and blushed crazily

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm too careless!" Serena bowed her head up and down to show she regretted, but Ash didn't have the nerve to comfort her. She did kissed him, but that kiss more like something uncomfortable

"I saw that, you two!" A voice called from behind. Ash turned around and saw Gary with his car

"Oh hey, Gary. You come to pick us up, huh?" Ash and Serena ran to him

"Yeah, sure, so you two lovebirds can have a place for fun" Gary smirked and Ash blushed again, while Serena let out a steam on her head

"Look... just... get in. Be quick!" Ash said and Serena got in the back seat, while he chose to sit on the front with Gary. Suddenly, when he got in the car, Gary started to ask him

"So that was a kiss, huh? Happy, Ashy-boy?" Gary smirked at him

"Well... more like an unpleasant" Ash said

"What do you mean?"

"She accidentally kissed me... on my eyeballs" Ash said. An awkward silence appeared between them. Then Gary let out a laugh

"Oh my Arceus, eyeballs" Gary said in his laugh

"Look, Gary, can we just go home fast? I have something to tell you, about Serena's condition" Ash said and Gary's face became serious

"Okay, I'll be fast" - Gary said - "But when we get home, make sure to tell me how your first time when you got kissed"

"GARY OAK!" Ash shouted at Gary. He started the engine and drove fast to Ash's house, ready for his explanation

Meanwhile...

"You got the data from the chip, right?"

"Yes, dad. All the mystery will be revealed"

"Good, then we can start our plan to take over the world. Ash Ketchum is such a fool. He doesn't know the real danger inside that chip"

"Yes, dad. And soon, the "Robot Apocalypse" can be started"
