A/N - So, which do you prefer? Smii7y or Smitty? I'm going to stick with Smitty for this one but if you don't like it, please tell me! Thanks!

Smitty's P.O.V.

(Y/N) had invited me to her cabin up in the Yukon Territory of Canada. It short flight to a tiny airport in a snow covered village surrounded by evergreen trees and wildlife. It's pretty cold so I put on my giant, furry, winter coat. Once I unloaded my two bags from the Cessna plane I had flown in with the mid-aged pilot, I was tackled into a giant bear hug from behind. I was started at first until I noticed it was my best friend since kindergarten. She laughed at my reaction and let me go. I turned around and smiled at her.

"Long time no see!" She says, brushing some stray hair out of her face and tucking it under her rabbit fur hat. I nod.

"Yeah, I never expected you to move more north after high school," I comment, looking around at the pale brightness of everything. The pilot I had flown with tipped his winter hat before trudging through the snow to a large gray building off to the left. "I thought you hated the cold."

"I did." (Y/N) replies, picking up one of my bags. I take my second one and follow her towards her big, black GMC Canyon. "But did you see how beautiful it is up here?" She asks, unlocking her truck and throwing my stuff onto the back seats, I do the same with my other bag. We get into the truck and she starts it up, shifting the gear into drive. It's a bit chilly inside the vehicle since the heater isn't quite blowing hot air yet.

"I guess, I didn't really look out the window of the plane. I just played on my phone." I admit and she smiles, it seems to warm me up and take away the sudden chatter from my teeth.

"Well when you inevitably have to fly home, I suggest watching the land pass by below you." She follows the tire tracks in the snow before pulling onto a tar road, blackened from the melting ice. "You'll see some crazy frozen lakes and beautiful wildlife reserves."

"Noted," I answer which makes her giggle. I feel my cheeks heat up and I look out the passenger window. Why the hell am I suddenly acting all nervous around her? I steal a peek over at her just as she takes her giant hat off, her (H/L) (H/C) hair tumbling from it. Her skin looks so soft and for some reason, I'm longing to touch it. Her (E/C) eyes scan the road and concentrate on her driving, she has a slight frown as she pays attention to her surroundings, an old habit of hers. She looks beautiful. Wait- did I just think that?!

"So, what have you been up to Mr. BusyBody?" Her question snaps me out of my stare and I quickly answer her. The rest of the car ride was spent like that, her asking me questions, me answering them, and then my questions for her and her answers.

We pull onto a small, tree branch enclosed, road that leads into the woods. The snow is less evident on the gravel as we drive down it, either trapped by the branches or freshly plowed. She pulls up to an even smaller cabin and turns to truck off. She hops out and I follow, taking my bags out of the back while she unlocks the front door.

She opens the door and allows me to walk in first. The first room we walk into is the living room with the kitchen an immediate right. The kitchen has multiple modern appliances and an island, complete with comfy-looking bar stools, that is attached to the right wall to give it a closed-off vibe. A small gray couch sits in the corner to the left and a flatscreen TV sits on an entertainment center on the wall across from it. Next to the TV is a wooden door that's closed. On the left wall, a few feet from the couch is another door but it's open, revealing a bathroom. The sink is covered in beauty supplies, makeup, hair spray, a straightener, a curler, perfume, everything a girl needs. Another door sits next to it and it's open as well, it's home to a washer, dryer, and a covered trash can. The walls are painted a pale beige and have artsy stickers stuck in artsy places with mirrors and pictures hung upon them. There are two windows in this part of the house, a small one above the kitchen sink and a large one on the farthest wall.
