16 years old.
The knock on Brian's window woke him up. It startled him so much to the point where he fell out of bed. He heard a hearty laugh from his window and looked up to see (Y/N) smiling at him from behind the glass. He frowned for a second, seeing on his alarm clock that it was 2 in the morning. He stood up and walked to his window, opening it. Instantly, (Y/N) spoke. "Do you have any chloroform?"
It was Brian's turn to laugh, though he made sure to keep quiet as to not wake his parents. "Chloroform?" He raised an eyebrow at her and she nodded vigorously, almost tipping the ladder she had propped up against the house. "Why exactly do you need chloroform at 2 AM?"
"Because." Was all she replied with, completely serious about the whole ordeal. He shook his head in disbelief, a small smile on his face. "So do you?" She pressed, catching Brian off guard. He didn't think she was actually serious. He looked back at her and she stared straight into his baby blue eyes. The intensity of her stare and the twinkle in her eyes made him blush.
"No, I don't." He said slowly, earning an exaggerated groan from the female. "I don't even know where you get that kind of stuff."
18 years old.
"So why did you punch that guy?" Brian trails behind his grumbling friend. She turns around with her arms crossed, her prom dress swishing with the sudden movement. In the moonlight she looked like a goddess, her dress sparkled and complimented her form. Her (E/C) eyes shone with unshed anger and satisfaction. Her hair, done in the most perfect way, seemed to look even better.
"Because he was an ass." She says with a glare before stomping away, causing Brian to have to run to catch up with her. "I can't believe him!" She threw her arms up into the air in exasperation.
20 years old.
The two friends stand in (Y/N)'s garage. She had called Brian over to have him help her with an experiment. She was going to try and make a new growth serum for her garden since it wasn't growing in as nicely as she wanted. They were both dressed in clear raincoats with huge safely goggles on their eyes, doctor's masks to protect them from inhaling any fumes, and rubber cleaning gloves in case they got anything on their hands.
"I'm like 75% sure this won't explode on us." (Y/N) muffled through her mask, prepping to mix the two random substances she made. Brian quickly grabbed her wrists.
"Only 75%?!" He all but screeches. He calmed himself down only slightly before saying, "Why don't we put these down then..." He trailed off, trying to stop her from pouring them both into the large beaker. She shook her wrists out of his grasp and quickly poured the two mixtures together before he could do anything about it. She crouched down to study the reaction. The two liquids mixed and turned red before the whole thing started to steam and make a squealing noise.
Brian jumped into action, covering the beaker and grabbing (Y/N)'s hand. He quickly ran out of the garage and into the house, slamming the door and pulling (Y/N) against him while leaning against the door. A large 'poof' was heard and the door shook slightly. (Y/N) couldn't speak as her face was pressed into Brian's chest, but she could laugh. So she burst into a fit of laughter, wrapping her arms around Brian as the giggles overtook her body. "THAT WAS SICK!" She cried out, looking up at the male in front of her. Brian couldn't help but smile down at her.
She pulled herself out of his grip before jumping around. "You're gonna kill us someday." He muttered with a laugh, standing up from the door.
"Yeah, and when I do, we'll be known for going down doing something AWESOME!" (Y/N) twirls around some more before throwing herself at Brian, snaking her arms around his neck and pulling him down into her. Brian instantly reddened, feeling awkward as (Y/N) nuzzled his cheek with her head. "But what matters most is that we'll go together." She murmured in his ear.
22 years old.
"So what if I broke my arm, I'm still doing it." (Y/N) tried to shove Brian out of the way so she could pick up her BMX bike to try again. Brian grabbed her again since it's really hard to fend someone off with one arm. Her sling constricted her broken arm in its cast and she hissed.
"See that? That is the exact reason why you shouldn't." He wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her close, stopping her from doing anything else. She groaned in an exaggerated way.
"But I want to!" She whined like a child, reaching for her bike again. Brian laughed, holding her tighter but not tight enough to hurt her broken arm.
24 years old.
The two friends stood at the old bridge leading out of town. Little to no cars pass by them as they argue. (Y/N) wanted to bungee jump off the bridge but Brian was having no part in it. He said it was too dangerous since the bridge was falling apart. "But that's what makes it fun! The thrill of death!" She waves her arms around as she speaks.
"That's what makes it not fun at all! The chance that you could die while doing this is enough to give me a panic attack! If I were to lose you, I don't know what I'd do!" Brian spilled out, watching (Y/N) as she stood that the edge of the bridge, ready to jump. "Can't you just take a step back and live life normally with me for once?"
She stepped away from the edge and walked up to Brian, looking him in the eyes. He froze since he wasn't sure what she was doing, her face emotionless. "I don't know if I want to kiss you or shove you off this bridge right now." She said, a smile spreading on her lips when she saw his eyes widen. "With a bungee cord of course. You'd come back... maybe."
"Can you pick the one that doesn't involve me possibly dying?" Brian replied with a smile of his own. (Y/N) shrugged, looking bored.
"I guess so." She said, rolling her eyes with a playful sigh before grabbing the collar of Brian's shirt and pulling him into her. Their kiss was passionate, the first of many.
26 years old.
"You're the Keenan to my Kel." She said with a smile, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. He blushed only slightly.
"Welcome to Ireland, home of the Brian, can I take your heart?" He replied swiftly, earning two raised eyebrows and a burst of laughter from the female next to him. He blushed harder this time. "I-It sounded better in my head."
"I bet it did." She calmed herself down enough to look up at Brian with a huge smile on her face. She then laid her head on his shoulder and sighed, staring out at the beautiful scenery of her grandparent's ranch. Brian rocked the swing they sat on back and forth, resting his head on top of her's. He interlaced his fingers with her's and sighed as well, content with the moment. "I bet it did."
