"(Y/N)! Get Down!" Your dad yells at you as bullets ring overhead. You scream, startled by the sudden loud noises. Your mom abruptly pulls out double pistols from her purse and shoots over what used to be the outdoor seating area table you guys were eating lunch at. You had no idea what was going on but you knew it was serious. Why were your parents suddenly badass?
Your dad rips a balled up mask out of his pocket and puts it on, firing some of his own bullets at people on top of the building across the street. People all around your family scramble to hide or find a safe place to wait this out. None of them call the cops like this isn't new to them. Your mom puts on a mask as well, covering her identity.
They quickly grab you and try to shove you off, telling you to run and that they'd deal with this but you couldn't leave. You were too confused. Your parents were regular people who never held guns, let alone shoot them... right? What was going on? Your dad tries to hold the random armed people off as your mom brings you to an alley.
"Mom, what the hell?" You ask and she gives you a reassuring look, her mask sitting on top of her head to reveal her face.
"You were bound to find out." You cock your head to the side, confused. "Your dad and I are in a gang. We meant to tell you but we never found the right time to, so now you know. Those people shooting are in a rival gang. Your dad and I have to take care of this, just go home." She pushes you off. GANG?! You scream inside your head. It's awesome and awful at the same time. You listen to your mom and sprint in the direction of home.
Los Santos has millions of gangs but you could have never guessed that your parents were part of one. Suddenly, you wanted to join one, become a badass and be respected on the streets. Wouldn't that be something? What surprised you was how well your parents hid this from you.
Behind you, you heard footsteps. You turned around to be greeted by a man in an owl mask, he looked like he was the same age as you but maybe a couple years older. He brought up a rag and held it to your mouth. You screamed a muffled scream but that was a mistake on your part as you breathed in the fumes on the cloth. Your eyes hung and soon, you passed out.
The owl man's friends came and helped bring you back to their base. They were part of the rival gang against the one your parents were in. They sent messages back to the ones shooting at your parents and they ceased fire, confusing your parents. They quickly connected the dots and started towards your home, looking for you. You were never found by them, they were two steps behind their rival gang.
---
You woke up and opened your eyes to be greeted by a blindfold, you were bumped and jostled around and you made the assumption you were in the back of a vehicle. You felt around and realized you were in a trunk. Your panic set in and you ripped off your blindfold. You looked around, thinking whoever took you was an idiot to not have tied you up but you didn't complain. You began slamming your whole body into the roof of the trunk and soon it popped open from your force. The whole thing opened up to reveal the city zooming by you. Behind the vehicle you were in you saw a black van full of men. They stared at you and you stared back.
You watched as the men began yelling at one another, trying to figure out what to do and who's fault it was that they hadn't tied you up. Only one man was left staring at you after two seconds had passed. You stared into his eyes and felt safe for some reason. How could that be? He's trying to kidnap you. You get the idea to jump out of the trunk and run away. It was ballsy but you knew that is was one of your only ways to get away. You looked around and slowly stood, making sure to not fall.
You connected your eyes with the man driving and got a good look at him. He had dirty blonde, almost auburn looking, hair with deep chocolate brown eyes. He wore thin-rimmed glasses with wide lenses and a suit. His hair was combed into a quiff. He got the idea of what you were going to do and he nodded. It was the type of nod that told you that you were clear to go. The type that told you it was alright. You nodded back and prepared to jump. You mouthed one, then two, and finally three before you jumped out of the trunk.
