"Keeeeeith."
"What?"
"Can I have your muffin?"
"Can we split it?"
That was the final decision.
Keith pulled his muffin out of his lunch box and split it in half to give to his best friend.
"I can't wait to go to the park later!", Lance beamed. He sat down in his assigned desk. Keith nodded happily and sat down in his desk next to Lance's.
"I'm going to the park later too!", Daniel Lotor boasted. The little platinum-haired boy chewed hastily on his sandwich, giving the two other boys a sneaky glare.
"Would you want to play with us?", Keith asked kindly. He split off another piece of his muffin and handed it to Lotor.
Lotor looked at the muffin the kid gave to him.
His gaze softened.
"You would really want to play with me?"
Both Keith and Lance nodded.
"Of course!"
