Falco pulled Devin to the side and was telling him something. I could hear the muttering but I couldn't understand what they were saying. When they were done, Falco walked up to me and took my hand. Welcome to the family my pretty little child. I will leave you and Devin you have much to talk about. Falco turned and walked away. All I could do was stare into space. My head. My brain was still trying to understand what was going on. I was still trying to figure out if I was completely bonkers or if these people were some group of weirdos.
Devin kept staring at me and smiling. He was being creepy. He was handsome but creepy. Devin took both of my hands in his they felt so cold. I shivered. Then he spoke. I promised to keep you safe and I will till my last breath. I will not let my brother or his flunky April touch you. I promise. He said. I just layed there still in shock.
I wanted to say something. Heck I wanted to yell, but I didn't know what to say or what to yell. So laying there looking like a zombie and freezing to death is what I guess I decided to do.
