Just a year ago, it was their second anniversary.

Matt had called Troye when he was in his university cafeteria, telling him to come to the front of the fountain in the middle of the University campus.

Troye was confused a bit and he asked Jacob whether he should skip his class to go there and Jacob obviously said yes.

Troye was excited as he went in front of the fountain only to find Matt there standing there in a black suit, his hair swept to the right side, looking as handsome as he ever did.

And he had a few strings of balloons in his hand, Red heart shaped balloons as Troye just smiled at the sight, running up to Matt to go and just hug him tightly.

Jacob just watched from afar, happy that his friend and long time crush was so happy with his boyfriend Matt.

"Matty!" Troye squealed, giggling loudly.

The people around them were gathered as Matt held Troye's hand, giving him a small kiss on the back of his hand, Jacob watching and sighing to himself.

If only, he had the courage to express his feelings for the younger boy earlier, then he would have been in Matt's place that day.

But Troye would have probably not returned his feelings back.

"Troye, baby its our second anniversary and like, I just wanted to do something so special so uhm, I hope it would be okay if you skip your class and go out with me somewhere?" Matt asked with an awkward blush.

"Yeah, of course," Troye said as he kissed Matt's cheek and then just smiled up at Jacob, asking him,

"Jay, can you please send me the notes of english later because uhm, I need to go right now," Troye had said with his eyes wide and innocent.

"Of course bub," Jacob said as he caressed Troye's face and Troye squealed, running up to Matt gripping on to his arm and talking to him amiably.

His blue eyes were lit up as he and Matt left the campus with Jacob watching behind them.

He was jealous thought he should not be because Troye was happy with Matt and that is all that matters.

All that matters was Troye's happiness.

But, well, Troye used to be happy with Matt.

Is he happy with Matt right now? Things have changed. Matt has changed. Matt does not take him to drive in movies anymore.

They barely talk to each other and the only contact they have is when Matt comes home drunk, having lipstick stains on his shirt and beat Troye up.

Troye is not happy now. Things have changed so much. He does not feel loved anymore, he feels unwanted and so alone.
