Jared had come around on about Monday. He seemed happier than what I had seen on Friday. I felt like I had accomplished something that I thought I could never accomplish before. I called Jared and told him to come over to hang as friends. About thirty minutes later, Jared came over and said that he still likes me and he respects what I did Thursday. I told him that I'm glad that he respects what happened Thursday. We started talking about what we would be doing after graduation. I told him everything about what would be happening and he told me also. We had been talking for about two or three hours, so we said our goodbye's and he left to go home.

~One Week Later~

"Hey, Jared? Can you come over to my house if you are not busy? I asked him having a little fear. "Sure, I'll be there in about an hour or less," said Jared. We hung up and I started running through what I was going to tell him. I had been thinking of it for the past week.

~Forty Minutes Later~

"Hey, Jared. Let me straight forward to you. I actually still like you, but I don't want to date. Do you understand what I'm saying? I know I can be confusing a lot of the times." "Actually, I kind of already knew because at school you would punch me in the arm or blush a little bit when we mess around. Is that your way of flirting with me, because it is kind of cute, Jared said." "I think it is my way of flirting with you because I didn't do until we started dating or a little bit before." We started talking for about an hour about what we were feeling towards each other. I started leaning on Jared because he has comforted me in so many ways because we are basically besties. We said our goodbye's and he left once again.
