Tables Turned

When I went to bed last night it got me thinking. It made me realized what dad had done.

Never in my life would I thought he would do something like that. Dad's always this religious man around church. He 20% owns the church we go to because my grandpa was the owner and pastor of the church. He's always called to pray for the communion and sometimes preaches.

This is not happening.

I touched my temple and hissed at the pain. "Agh." I slumped myself deep down the bed and closed my eyes.

"Honey?"

My eyes snapped open to see mum standing at the door. I looked at the side and saw the ice melting at my blanky wanky.

"I'm sorry about yesterday.." She broke down into sobs and sat at my bed, crouched down with her hands on her face.

"Mum.." I trailed, moving closer and caressed her back.

"I-I didnt know what happened to David he just--" she sobbed even harder.

I feel mum.. I also didnt expect this to happen.

"It's ok." I told her and her cries slowly faded. She hugged me and wiped her tears, "Its church day, dress up nicely." She told me with a weak smile and planted a kiss on my forehead before heading out my room.

I took a short warm bath and wore a white blouse with jeans and a pair of converse. I braided my hair at the back and tied it across with style.

Satisfied, I went down and saw Dad..

"Let's go, Andrea." Mom called when I stopped and stared at his back. I snapped into reality and went inside an old cheap car we just got.

"How was sleep, Andrea?" Dad asked, looking at the rear-view mirror with a smile. I then averted my gaze at mom who was smiling encouraging at me. I looked down, "I-It was ok." I answered remembering Milo and everything. Gahd why did I even went down that freaking basement how stupid can I get!

The church was ok, the sermon was about the signs God has made with the people and everything.

As the car stopped infront of our home I looked up to see Milo. He was standing at the window with Emma and Ted.

I looked away.

Let's get this straight. Milo is dead.

Milo is talking to Andrea.

Andrea is a dumb dumb who went with a dead person.

Dead person made Andrea watch a scary disturbing video.

Mom I think we should move.

But the point is that house was so scary they had to sell it at the most lowest price it could get that only my parents can afford.

Would they even believe it if I told them? Well wouldn't they because the killer there victimizes children? And I'm a kid so probably---

"Andrea?"

I looked out to see mom and dad out the car. Oh.

I went out and shut the door. Mom gave me an encouraging smile before I went straight to the living room. Admittedly, once I cleared that weird thing out my head I got scared to up again.

Somebody shoot me please.

Mum and dad went up already and guess what. The door of the basement went wild. Not really wild but small thugs were sounding from the wooden door.

"Stop it." I whispered, hoping they could hear me. What can I do, I need to brainstorm.
