Hey, hey Sonal! So your book, Diana, seems very familiar. I’m not sure why, but when I read the introduction/description, it didn’t strike me as unique. However, I’ve never been one to judge a book by it’s appearance and I was pleasantly surprised.

The cover of your book is a little… hard to read? The font that Diana is written in is nice, easy to read, but the loopy embroidery thing behind/above it is very distracting and makes the words harder to read. Your username is not readable at first or even second glance; it’s simply too small. Also, the pictures of Harry and Diana are very dark and blurry. While it serves its purpose, I think you could use a new cover.

Next, grammar and punctuation! The main things I noticed were small typos and comma splices. Other than that, your story is pretty clean of grammatical errors. I would just recommend going back in a scanning over the full story, editing the minor things.

As you know, you are not too far into your story yet. This makes it harder for me to summarize, but there’s been quite a bit going on. It seems as though Diana has some serious family issues, as well as school issues. Harry, being the new kid, is up for the challenge of becoming Diana’s friend. I like how you’re showing both of their point of views in this, as it tones down the progression of their relationship when you show Harry’s cool manner of approach.

Basically, this is a great start Sonal. However, I can’t say that I’m totally enthralled by the book. It’s just not that captivating yet. I have high hopes for this book. In all honesty, I think that you can take this book to new heights, along with the plot idea. Once you throw some good plot twists in with some good descriptors, this book will be a smash. Good luck my darling. x
