Well, well, well. Hello there Jess. It seems as though you’ve got some serious tricks up that sleeve of yours. This short story is amazing. Okay? I’m going to go ahead and warn you that this review is going to be short because there isn’t much to say and not much to ‘correct’, so to speak.

I love your cover. I think it fits the book well – obviously. I would just suggest that you add your username onto it though, just to allow people to identify to you easier. Other than that, I really like the candle used; it’s almost creepy and scary- like confessions.

As for grammar, I would suggest you look through the first two chapters for little typos. There really aren’t any issues with structure. I like the way you have the story set up, as it’s almost more intriguing than a full story. You’ve mastered the art of the short story my dear.

There isn’t much to say summary wise, and I think you know that. All one has to do is read a bit and be blown away. It’s emotional in a way that hits your heart hard. For two people to love one another and not know it, that is the worst and best form of irony- dramatic irony.

You are amazing! This story really is fantastic and I cannot wait for the next update. I’ve rated blackout as a 9.5 due to the sheer emotion in the story. Your use of literary elements is surprising and comes across as well thought out. Keep up the great work, and your confidence. Please let me know what you think below. x
