Chapter 21 – Wedding Preparations
KATH’S POV
It’s been 7 months since Bes’ wedding and exactly 5 days before our wedding. Yes, wedding. We’ve been engage for 7 months now and we’ve been planning for this wedding ever since.
He proposed a week after Bes’ wedding.
FLASHBACK
Nagpprepare na ko for our dinner date. Im wearing a dress DJ bought me and I gave my hair sexy waves to complement the dress. I wore my pumps and waited in our sofa. Casey is with Kiray and Yen, they borrowed her for the day. Girl bonding daw, di naman ako sinama. Haha. Kidding, si DJ kasi maagang nagsabi ng dinner date kaya di ako nakasama sa girls.
A few minutes after, dumating na si Deej. Damn boy, my boyfriend’s so hot.

Right, boyfriend.
May anak na kami, pero boyfriend ko lang siya. Is he not thinking of getting married? Gusto ko na maging Padilla. Gusto ko na makasal sakanya. Gusto ko na maging Padilla si Casey. Kaso wala atang balak magpakasal tong isang to. Hay. Ako na kaya ang magpropose?
Nah. That’s a desperate move. But whatever, pag natapos tong gabing to at wala parin siyang nabanggit tungkol sa kasal, ako na talaga magppropose sakanya. The hell with my pride, I want to be Mrs. Padilla.
“Babe? Kanina ka pa tahimik ah. May problema ba?” DJ
“Ah wala. Okay lang ako. Malayo pa ba tayo?”
“Malapit na Babe.” He said with a huge grin on his face.
I didnt know I was spacing out the whole ride. Kasi naman. Ayaw ba niya ko pakasalan? Ano forever in-a-relationship nalang kami, ganun? We’re too old for that crap, and besides may anak na kami di ba niya naisip na mabuo kami as family.
*sigh*
“Babe you sure you’re okay? You’ve been sighing for the past 10 minutes.” DJ
“Sorry sorry. May iniisip lang ako.”
“Care to share?” DJ
“Nah. Better keep it to myself right now babe.” I have him a weak smile.
“Di kita pipilitin sabihin yan, but please smile. I want this night to be special. We’re here. Mauna ka na sa loob babe magpapark lang ako. Nagpareserve na ko jan.” DJ
