When the waiter finally brought the drinks I was very relieved. The awkwardness was so thick I could've cut through it with a knife. I sipped on my scotch and Selina, my beautiful Selina, drank her ice water. She really looked perfect.
"Bruce." She say pulling me from my thoughts.
"Yes, darling?" I say.
"You...have a little something." She said as she dabbed a napkin on the corner of my mouth.
"Thank you." I say graciously.
I feel her touch linger on my skin. So soft, so gentle it gives me goosebumps. After a while the waiter comes back and takes our dinner order, a large steak, for us to share. It was delectable. I wasn't really paying attention though, I was staring into Selina's mesmerizing hazel eyes. When we locked eyes it seemed to last forever. An eternity of love, in one glance.
