Chapter 5

So far I love writing this book and hope you love reading!

Anyway here's my next chapter, enjoy!!!

Knowing your a vampire is not even the hardest part. The hardest part is knowing that you have to accept something so scary.

After my total freakout, I finally sat down and let them explain. They told me about mates and how blood activates your vampire senses. That explains the fact I don't have the powers, because I haven't had blood to fuel it. They told me I should have my powers by tomorrow and fed me a lot of blood. When you get to know them, they're actually a great family.

My father also explained why I was left with my mother and my siblings went with him. He was planning to take all of us but our mother begged him to let her keep on for a while. He gave her a choice of who and she choose me. He told her he would be back to retrieve me when I was older, and that's why I'm here. If it wasn't for the compromise I would have known these secrets a lot earlier.

He also explained why everyone was calling me princess. We come from a long line of royal vampires and he is the king. We are vamp princes and princesses. After everything was taken care of, I was allowed to report back to my 'sleeping chambers'.

The next morning was the first full day of knowing 'the secret'. After my classes I went to lunch. The lunchroom was big, it's smell penetrated blood, but that's what you would expect from a vampire school. I walked through the cafeteria until I found a empty table in the corner.

The table next to it, I'm guessing, was the popular table. Cheerleaders and jocks sat around the table laughing at jokes. I took a closer look and noticed Tristan looking up at me. When he noticed I saw him looking at me, he waved at me and motioned for me to come over. I did so leaving my book bag at my table.

"Hey guys, this is my sister Elizabeth. Elizabeth these are my friends." he introduced.

"Yeah we know, we still remember the whole episode at the assembly. Ya know you should try out for track." One of his friends, John joked. My face flushed, I was hoping everybody forgot. Before anyone saw my face I quickly picked up my book bag and ran out of the cafeteria.

The last things I heard were, "Shut up man, that's my sister."

Just because you royal doesn't mean they will treat you any different.
