It may of seemed sordid to the rest of the world but right now in this now hot and sweaty office was where Daryl and Olivia needed to be, they never made it to the bar down the road.Instead they attempted to re dress themselves but to no avail, they couldnt keep their hands from each other and they ended up having sex on the floor, the couch and again on the table.

It was now verging on 4am and they sat cuddled up to one another as they shared a cigarette on the couch. An old musky smelling sheet kept them warm "Shit its four in the morning!" Daryl gasped pushing himself up from the couch making Olivia nearly fall on her side seeing as she was leaning on him.

Daryl stood and threw his screwed up T shirt on and tossed Olivia her crumpled dress as he dressed rather manically. She felt uncertain at why he got up so fast and pushed her from him like that, he knew when it was hitting midnight that it was getting later and later so why the rush now?. "I feel like you are are rushing to leave?" She questioned as she slid her dress over her head, she had gone from feeling loved to feeling like a cheap slut in the space of a few minutes.

She heard Daryl muttering to himself but she couldnt quite make out what he was saying and after zipping her dress up herself she put her shoes on and went to leave but Daryl called her back "where are you going?" He sounded concerned and upset she would want to leave "home?" She replied pulling a confused face "the way you are getting in a state over it I can take a hint, i'm not that stupid" she eyed him up and down and stepped outside.

The air really was cold and it hit her quickly making her teeth start chattering as she went to dial for a taxi. Daryl took the phone from her before she could speak "what are you going to say when you get home?" He asked as if he needed her to get a story together, she could see he was looking guilty. She shrugged "nothing, I dont need too" she spoke bitterly "dont worry I wont tell your little girlfriend" she added, she must of sounded really petty to him but what happened in that office wasnt some cheap hook up, it was filled with passion, love and re connecting, well at least to her it did.

Daryl realised how he was coming across and tried to take Olivia back inside into the warm to explain himself. She was reluctant at first but gave in and followed him inside. "Liv I dont cheat" he admitted making her roll her eyes at him rather pettily. "You know me, when did I ever?" He reminded her and she nodded in agreement with him "so what was that? Because you 'didnt' cheat nearly five times" she smirked, he pulled her a 'stop it' face as he ran his hand over his mouth as he thought some more "but then you came back and its just thrown everything in the air" he admitted and now she didnt feel so cheap and slutty. He felt the same as her!

"I wont tell anyone Daryl, not even Lori so its not like your girlfriend will ever know" Olivia reassured him but then he looked guilty again "what? She got cameras in here or something?" She teased "me and Kate are engaged Liv, we are getting married in three months" he sighed. Olivia felt sick, he certainly hadnt been behaving like he was getting married. "Pardon?" She snapped, Daryl stood awkwardly not knowing what to do next "man i've made such a mess!" He groaned sitting himself on his desk "wow. I am so sorry" she spat sarcastically "poor Daryl has two girls on the go" she added, she knew how petty she was coming across but she was mad.

Mad that he didnt tell her they were engaged in the first place, if he had she wouldnt of come, in her head she thought where she was his wife at one point she would trump Kate, but not anymore. Now she felt guilty.

"Olivia its not like that" Daryl began "I never expected to see you again" he sounded broken "I had to try and move on" those words infuriated Olivia and she couldnt help herself from yelling "I didnt even try, I didnt want to! And I have an easier life!"  "You cant be on your own forever Liv" he tried to calm her down but instead came off patronising, annoying her further "I'm not on my own. I have someone" she shot back tossing her bag onto the couch, he looked confused by what she meant. "I've been seeing this guy since we divorced" she began, he seemed hurt by her words so she explained further "its just sex, nothing else, no feelings, nothing. It works for me." She became teary eyed "I dont to be in love again, whats the point? I protect myself this way" she nodded at the rationality of her thinking. Daryl seemed hurt finding out she had been with someone all this time especially when she told him there was no one "is it just him?" He asked sadly, Olivia gave him a weak smile "yup" she replied "he's married" she added letting out a giggle, Daryl opened his mouth "he's this big car dealership owner, he's loaded, keeps me in this swanky apartment and stays when he doesnt want to go home to his wife" she explained, Daryl's mouth stayed open but he smirked a little when he saw how unbothered Olivia was. "Clearly I have a type for taken men" she sarcastically joked.

"I better go, I dont regret last night Daryl but its down to you if you regret it, no one will know about this so you can go back to your life". Olivia spoke gathering her belongings and  opening the door "it didnt work for us for a reason so dont tell your fiancee about this, its not worth it." She added looking back at him, he seemed deep in thought not even acknowledging what she said so she left anyway.
