Whilst Alby was sitting down cutting grooves into the wood with a knife, Newt stared quizzical at the walls that surrounded the Glade.
"Hey Alby?"
"Yeah,"
"Have you ever gone out there?"
Newt pointed at the walls
"Yes"
Alby said, a shadow passed across his face and he looked away.
"Don't go out there, please, you'll die."
"What happened?"
Newt whispered.
"I don't want to talk about it."
Alby snapped glaring at Newt.
Newt reeled back, surprised by Alby's sudden out burst
"Oh uh, sorry?"
"Just... Stay put."
"Should I uh, help you?"
Newt said awkwardly scratching his neck.
"Yeah, that would be nice."
Newt sat by Alby's side and tried to copy Alby and failed miserably, cutting his finger instead.
"Shuck it! That hurt!"
Newt cried.
"Oh grow up. Seriously I've had worse."
Alby lifted his shirt and exposed a long scar that stretched from his chest to his hip.
"When I went passed the wall this happened. Curiosity gets you killed."
Alby repeated. Then he said more softly
"I'm just looking out for you. I don't want you to get hurt."
"Oh my god! what did that?"
"For Christ sake! how many times CURIOSITY GETS YOU KILLED!!!!!!"
"Fine! I get it! calm down! I get it!"
