"Amara we cannot hide this anymore! We must tell mother that you are not feeling right" Diabella exclaimed.

"Diabella stop I am not sick. This is simple hunger"

"But you almost killed every living soul next to you. You aren't just hungry you are starting!"

"I know sister"  I answered.

"Then why not tell mother? She may help you"

"Diabella this is normal. I am of age already. I must feel this hunger. I have  felt it for a long time already I'll manage more until I can feed on...on someone." I voiced.

I've been experiencing terrible hunger. I feel like I have been starved for months. But it is normal for a Siren my age  not to feed on humans  for more than 2 weeks. We can manage feeding on small fishes to help us with starvation although it never makes you full and doesn't give you the feeling of satisfaction. But I have felt like dying. No wonder why Sirens are are feeding with very little breaks.

I could feed on fishes which I have but it didn't satisfy me. I needed something more. Something with taste. A soul perhaps. A human male's soul to be specific.

They were no sailors nearby. I couldn't feed on them. Unless I swam far towards north. It would take too long.

But I had a feeling that soon enough I'll be able to feed. I had a vision of a beautiful ship passing by our island. It was meant to happen on full moon. Which is in 4 day's.

The moon hasn't come straight for a long time. But I knew it would this time. It would come with the ship.
