I wanted to take a second to write about something that is bothering me, particularly with this book, and to address the issue straight away.
I've been getting a large number of messages asking me to update this book - sometimes by people demanding that I update - and, frankly, it's upsetting and quite rude. I'm also getting these messages + comments immediately after updating with a new chapter, which is somehow worse, because I literally just gave you a new update.

Here's how that makes me feel:
1) That you don't see me as a human, you see me as a vehicle for your entertainment. 2) That you don't recognize the amount of effort I'm putting into these books to produce *quality* fanfiction that is better than the average fanfiction (or original book) on Wattpad. 3) That you don't realize this is 100% unpaid. I'm writing fanfiction for free. 4) That you think your reading habits are more important than my writing career, free time, and personal wellbeing.

Remember: - Wattpad authors are posting *free* content for you to enjoy. - We have lives, we have responsibilities. - We have no obligation to continue posting fanfiction. (That's right, I could quit tomorrow.)

I love each and every one of you. Seriously, I do. You know that I do. I wouldn't be writing this book right now if I didn't. (I mean it guys, I didn't want to write book 3, but I decided that I wanted to write book 3 for you guys.) That's how much I love you. You've all been phenomenally supportive, and I'm so wonderfully thrilled by the friendships I've built with you guys thanks to Wattpad and these books.
But I'm trying to build my career as an author, so until you're *financially* supporting me, you have zero right to demand updates from me on a book that has a 0.001% chance of ever being published.

Not the fanfiction, my original stories. Go review FOLLOWED on Goodreads. Tell your friends to read my books. Get on social media and tell other people about my books. Heck, find agents and publishers on Twitter and tell them, "This book needs to be published!"
Because I'm spending a lot of time writing new original fiction, querying agents + publishers, prepping my books for publication, and yet I open Wattpad and all I see are people taking me and my books for granted.
