"Hey... hey wake up" carl said shaking me I look up and around "what the fuck carl it's 3 am" I said scratching my head "exactly we are getting your clothes" he said about to shake debbie but she was already up. "Woke up 30 min ago" she said "Liam" Debbie added "what?" I asked "Liam our brother" carl said
"He was crying about a bad dream" Debbie added
"how many siblings do you have?" I asked laughing "well there's Liam, Lip, Ian , Debbie, Fiona" Carl said "oh and probably 50 others. our parents sleep around."
"Wonder who franks fucking right now" Debbie said
Carl laughed
I hopped up and went to the door "come on let's go" Debbie said
We all got to the front door and opened it.
We heard a few dogs barking and police sirens.
I was never used to it in New York
I grabbed Carl's arm because I was scared. He didn't flinch.
We were almost there when we heard a police siren from down the street. All of a sudden carl pushed me into the nearest ally and Debbie followed. "Wha-" i got cut off. Carl put his finger on my lip "shhh" he said and smirked
His smirk makes me melt.
Carl left the ally signaling us to do the same.
"What was that all about" I asked debbie
"At this time of night 3 teenagers waking the streets are just asking for it" Debbie said laughing.
We were finally at my moms house
Carl crept up to the window and looked in.
"Some dude is passed out on the floor and a woman. I'm guessing your mom is sleeping/passed out on the couch" carl said
He checked to see if the door was unlocked.
It clicked.
"Okay come on" carl said quietly opening the door and going upstairs.
"Where would your suitcase be?" Debbie asked me
"Probably in my moms room but I don't know where anything is she snapped at me in the first 5 minuets I was here" I said quietly
"Ok we're searching the house then" carl said beginning to walk around.
I went into different rooms until I heard debbie
"Found it!" Debbie whispered pulling it out of a closet
"Thanks debs" I said taking it.
"Okay let's get out of here" carl said
We were walking downstairs when we hit a picture on the side of the wall. It fell and the frame shattered. The man got up but my mom didn't. "Who's there!" He yelled looking around "huh?!" He yelled. "Come on we have to run" carl whispered grabbing my hand
The touch of his hand made me feel better
I think I'm starting to fall for him
"come on debbie" I whispered
We tried to get out with the suit case but the man yelled "stop right there you Fucking bastards" he said "turn around!"
Carl being the smart ass he is turned around
"What the fuck you gonna do?" Carl said
Debbie and I both turned around to see what was gonna happen
The man saw my face
"You" he said walking up he grabbed me by the neck and lifted me
I started gasping for air "help" I choked
I started swinging and kicking but he wouldn't let go
"If you ever disrespect your mother again there will be more where this comes from." he said as he started to squeeze my neck harder
"Elizabeth!" Carl yelled
"LET GO OF HER!" Carl screamed charging towards what seemed to be my moms boyfriend "oh yeah what are you gonna do" my moms boyfriend said
Debbie stepped back horrified
My mom still on the couch groaned
I tried to grab my moms boyfriends hand and shove them off of me but he was too strong. Things were getting blurry and black
The last thing I remember was Carl coming at him with a metal chair
