14 year old Elizabeth's dad just died, now she has to live with her abusive mom and her moms boyfriend Ron on the south side of Chicago. But what she doesn't know is that she might just meet the one.

I woke up and felt the need to do something crazy "Debbie!" I said shaking her "Huh?" She asked sitting up
She rubbed her eyes "Dye my hair brown" I said
Her eyes widened "okay!" She went to the bathroom and came back moments later with hair dye
It took a while but it turned out like this

I looked in the mirror "I love it! Thank you!" I said hugging her
It was now two and I decided to go and see carl and talk to him
I walked over to his door and knocked
Nobody answered I knocked again Nobody answered I opened the door and no one was there but Ben "Hey little guy where did carl go?" I asked Ben just licked me and barked
Carl's p.o.v I left the house at about 1:30 to break it off with G Dogg
I found him "Yo G we need to tal-" he cut me off "Thank god you're here kid.... get to work" he said handing me drugs
"G..." I said He looked at me "If you ditch me or even leave I will break you" he said with the glock in his hand
"Uh umm....no uh I was just going to say this is a lot more orders than we usually get" I said nervously
"What's up with you? It's the regular... but whatever go" he said taking off in his car
"I can't do this anymore" I thought to myself "G Dogg is going to kill me if I say I'm quitting the game! The 2nd time in almost 2 years" "Last time he almost killed Sean and I but luckily he just took our clothes.... this time he will kill me"
I deliverd the drugs and came back home
Elizabeth's p.o.v Someone opened the door to Carls room It was carl
"Hey Elizabeth...." he said "Hey... carl I- I'm in love with you. You're amazing, funny, adorable, respectful and so many other things. I can't believe I went through your stuff and everything and I felt so bad. You have every right to be mad at me right now but it's just been a better place since you've been in my life. You're touch makes me feel better and you're kiss is so amazing and just everything is right when you're with me. You know I sometimes see the word in your eyes and it's like I've known you all my life." I said not letting him speak "El-" I cut him off "You're my favorite person. And all the happiness you bring to me." I went on "And now I'm realizing all I've ever wanted is right in front of me. That's you" I smiled "I love you so so so much Carl Francis Gallagher. It's only you"
He stopped talking and looked at me Then he kissed me
It felt like.... time stopped and it was just him and I once again
We stopped "One I love you so much Elizabeth and two you're hair?!" He said
"Yeah Debbie dyed it" I said "do you like it?"
"You look amazing" he said holding my head in his hands
He kissed my forehead "I broke things off with G Dogg" he said I hugged him "Thank you... I'm glad you're safe now" He held my head again He kissed the top of it and put his chin on my head
Carls p.o.v I lied to her I really did and even after all she had said All those sweet things
I really have to break it off with G Dogg now No matter what the consequences are
It's Sunday now so I need to do it Wednesday after school
